Hi Keggyred: I will answer you....Christians are supposed to follow Christ, He is the head of the church. He said that marriage is a reflection of His relationship with the church. He layed down his life for the church...the church helps Him, serves Him, follows His leadership. He is the head of the church, the husband is the head of the wife.. The wife submits to her husband's leadership. They serve each other in various ways....the wife does different things than the husband does.

When we all get to heaven, there is a big marriage, we are married to Christ. We are made pure and spotless because we let him cleanse us with His forgiveness of our sins. We are made brand new. We can't get to heaven wtihout the forgiveness of sins. Christ is head over the church, just as the husband is the head of the wife. The wife answers to the husband, and he answers to Jesus Christ ....they both go to God in prayer, etc, but He is still the leader and has the final say in things.

He has the final say as the head of the household. They mutually submit but He has the final say, just as Christ has the final say in our lives as we submit to Him.
