  • Mike almost could pass for Ringo Starr!

  • I was in L.A. at a convention but had tickets to the first night of the concerts. (Mike came on the 3rd night.) But Mickey aluded to the fact that someone would be a guest that night and we all knew who he meant - so those of us who didn't go to the show were so bummed. But we all knew who was gonna show up! :)

  • That's Mary Hart, she was very young back then in 1986 but she stil keeps Et going forever!!!!!!!!

  • There was another historic moment in monkee history it was when all four of them did concerts in the U. K in 97. I was there and they were brilliant

  • I was there at the concert in the Hollywood Bowl all those years ago. The audience went wild when Mike came out. They ended the show doing the Monkey Walk across the stage. They put on a GREAT show that night!

  • It's like Hendrix, Clapton, and Nesbeth all together--unreal.

  • GOD bless & those really were the ... DAZE!

  • While I don't know any of the Monkees personally from what I have read about them they seem like brothers. They all get together every few years and once nerves get frayed they have to take a break. They always say they will never work together again but if they need help they always call on each other and if something good happens to one then the others are there to applaud. When the show was cast these guys seem to have found borthers they didn't know they had.

  • what are the chances that "summergirl" is full of crap?

  • pretty high...

  • Speaking from someone who knows Mike and Davy the best, I can honestly tell you that Davy did not do what you all seem to imply that he did, he did not show any anger toward Mike being on stage because in the interview, he was sincere about his long-term friendship with Mike-he loved him still then the way that Mike said that he loved all of them-Davy truly welcomed Mike's presence and he needed his sound to make their performance complete

  • @Summergirl2010 Curious---how do you know Mike and Davy, if you don't mind my asking.

  • You can see the anger in Davy's eyes. "Highlight of the tour" indeed. He was not happy.

  • He didn't like the idea of Mike coming in and 'taking the spot light' whenever he felt like it when they had established themselve's as a 3 man group.

  • True - very true; but I believe he has said in recent years that the Monkes aren't the Monkees without Davy, Peter, Micky and Mike. I think it could be understandable why he might have been a bit miffed; but this reunion was the best by far. Listen to that screaming! The Monkees were whole - the fans loved it and they were lucky to see it! I wish I could have been there that day but I settled for watching the reviews on TV. This is a historic moment in Monkee hisotry.

  • @davyo Mike Changed his mind and wanted to join them because the money was already in the bank tand was put there by Peter, Mikey and Davy doing all the work.

  • it looked to me as though he just wasnt in the mood to have a camra shoved in his face
