Fantastic Song!

But there is something that comes back to haunt me when i listen to it.. I can never manage to hear the part where the lyrics says: "The Land of Waiting where the Dead sit,

In their thought's shadow, by no moon lit".

Is it just me or isn't that piece of text in the song?

@TubeHati You are right. It's not uncommon for black metal bands to include would-be lyrics they don't actually sing. My guess is that this part was meant to be sung at 10:30 into the song but they went for the "dah-dah-dah" + silence in order to create a more spacious and glorious sound. That said, this is really a great verse.

Not everything is about commercial appeal--some musicians actually care about creating certain atmospheres in their music and heavy metal artists often strive to create harsh or darker feelings in their works. If everything only involved pretty clean singing then music would be much less original and much more stale as a whole.
