I have this condition also and supposly they say u can clear it up with the Tri-Luma cream or the Tube lustra cream. and i just wanted to know what i gota do to take this stuff off my neck :p
Everytime I gain weight the rashes appear under my armpits. When I lose some weight they fade away. What sucks that is right now I'm at a healthy weight. I don't get much exercise other than brisk walking, but I only get about 1,200 or less in calories. I watch fat rather than sugar intake but I guess i have to concentrate on sugar. My entire family has diabetes and I don't want it, I'm going to eat less and go back to the gym. Id rather be a stick than have diabetes.
I don't know why everyone is complaining about it :I the darker skin makes me feel special. I am not really ashamed of it Personally I think its kinda cool :D I am just not to jazzed with the syptoms and what not.
@Alkisnar yeah I know theres a ton of down sides to it (I've already seen it in action.). But since I have it and its not going away I thought I might as well think of the glass half full. ya know make the best of it even though its killing me.
@dragon202920 Actually what we have is a symptom of insulin resistance, I figured out how to reverse insulin resistance by not eating any carbs or sugar. I eat meats and fats and double in veggies, my skin is clearing and im losing weight.
A.N. is only fatal when linked to insulin resistance or diabetes, actually AN is a result of excess insulin.
Thanks so much for sharing this video !! I am going to share this with my group Living with PCOS on cafemom ... Many women with PCOS have insulin resistance as an underlying condition
I disagree with not laying responsibility on the food industry. The food industry purposely makes foods loaded with fat and unhealthy even dangerous ingredients just to make us eat more. It's cheaper, and it's in our face all of the time. They don't want to put the nutritional facts on their foods because they know that people might not eat them if they see how fattening they are.
Losing weight defiantly works for me, every time I gain weight i get a rash, when I lose it and get healthy I lose the rashes. I found out I have high cholesterol so I had to diet. As soon as I found it start diet and exercise.
@Sk8terboychris21 unfortunetly you can't. The best way to lessn it is to exersize to help loose weight. That may lesson the color. My doctor put me a medication which has helped loose the color. Other wise do no scrub the skin (for this will irritate it). As well as for putting cream on it and such. Your just gona have to live with it being there. if its on your neck grow your hair out.
how do i get rid of this? i have this and i want to get rid of it, do i cover it up with tattoos or do i get my skin replaced with lasers or do i use creams to make it light?
i dont want to lose weight because it takes forever and i know that technology is far behind and that technology advances very very slow
@FromThe3PointLine unfortunetly you can't. The best way to lessn it is to exersize to help loose weight. That may lesson the color. My doctor put me a medication which has helped loose the color. scrubing it hard, putting make up, lotion, etc may just agrivate it. And therefor not healthy for your skin. getting a tattoo is a really bad idea and so is the lasers and skin replacement. I also deal with this but I don't mind it. If it bothers you on your neck grow your hair out.
