  • hooray! mercury poisoning for all! Thanks Congress :)

  • If you eat tuna, then enjoy your mercury sandwich. Buffoons.

  • @kyle92223 ur another moron greenie in denial. maybe i outa put 2 t-spoons of mercury from a cfl in ur food and we'l see if u have the same reaction

  • I'd like to see the VS on breaking one of those. Enjoy the mercury.

  • Also my monthly electrity usage on average is 1200 kWh and that is with a couple large fishtanks with 300W heaters, lights..and a server running 24-7. I pay about $80 in electricty usage BUT I'm pay on average a $35 delivery charge which doesnt seem to fluctuate too much based on my consumption. This is with me using all CFL and turning lights and equipment not in use. I'm willing to bet switching some of my lights back to incandescent will cost me an extra $10 a month. I'd pay that no probs..

  • But are they really cheaper? I've had to replace a couple of them early due to a high frequency noise which is clearly audible and very annoying, a few have failed well before their time, they dim as bit as they age and the quality of the light coming off of them doesnt seem to be nearly as good for the wattage they are supposed to replace. If one is 13 watts and claims its equivalent to 60w, I tend to find its not quite like that. Probably closer to 40W. All that plus hassle of disposal...

  • Halogens are not nearly as efficient as CFLs. CFLs have longer life too

  • @stickedU Halogen bulbs are being made that are as much as 70% and they're still putting more efficiency into them. so they're efficient enough to stay on the market and will also be our future ligthing. i left my lights on for 5 days in a row. i bet u wana call the light bulb police on me huh

  • useless video

  • lightbulbsamerica, Most Of These Damn Things Are Not American Lightbulbs, In Fact Unless They Have A Globe Built Around Them, They Are Not Light Bulbs. They Are Light Tubes. Again I Don`t Want The Government Taking Away My Choices.

  • hey how do i throw the CFL away? it says dont break it, there will be a chance of death by mercury poison.

  • my advice to u is to stock up on incandecent bulbs b4 the phase out and u wont have to worry about mercury poison.

  • hmm. thats a good idea actually. i could see it coming in the future.

  • @classicrockonly i also forgot t mention to you that Halogen bulbs will be in the market very soon. Halogen bulbs are energy efficient incandescent bulbs with the same exact lighting color we're used to seeing in our old edison bulbs. But i would continue to stock up just in case these moron greenies decide not to bring them into the market.

  • Cycling compact fluorescent lamps like that will kill them. Any application where the lamp will be cycled should use incandescent lamps.

  • idiots read the description

  • How much watt for old light bulb?

  • You didn't explain the benefits! You have a great story tell....
