We have 3 pit bulls, a boxer mix, a Chihuahua and a Chiwennie. And our pit bulls don't act aggressive near any of them. I don't think they should be judged on how they are known to be. I think the people that make the dog aggressive should be judged more . Just putting my opinion out there. Great video. I loved it!

For all you haters, if you watched the video and noticed... the baby is having a great time picking up and shaking the vitamin bottles. She is a very, very eager child that needs a lot of mental stimulation. I don't have lots of toddler toys in my house. This was acreative way to give her 15 minutes of fun and build her motor skills. The bottles were returned to the fridge. And our dog Macey clearly shows no aggression. I'm starting to get weary of this mob mentality. Feels like the KKK again.
sn9696- first of all, we live in a condo with a yard, and 18 miles of hiking trails outside our door that we walk our dog on every day. second, as with the dog, I am closely monitoring the 10 month old baby... she wouldn't get a bottle open before I could stop her. third, our dog is almost 4 years old, sleeps on TWO pillows, she is prone to sprawling out on the floor exposing her belly, characteristic of a very gentle, trusting dog. The facts are that 80% of the pitbulls that have killed someone showed no prior aggression and most all happened when the owner was not around.

My son raises American Bullies (pit and mastiff mix). They are beautiful, sweet, loving dogs. I think this video is adorable! I have two Bullies curled up next to me now. I wouldn't trade them for the world.
i'm not sure what the point of the video is. In the "about" section, you say YOUR dog attacked a BABY. That seems like a huge thing that you should comment on and perhaps you are anti-pitbull. But in the video, you presumably have your dog playing with a baby, like you are supporting pit bulls.

Pitbulls represent an estimated 2-5% of the all the dogs in the country, so the statistics aren't inaccurate due to the fact that a breed might be more common than others. Labs are much more common of a breed and represent an incredibly small statistic of attacks.

Nearly none of those attacks would be in the owners property, its almost always the pit getting off the chain. One of my friends was attacked getting off the school bus. They are aggressive dogs designed from day 1 to be more efficient killers through selective breeding.
@Cynicalprediction I guess my Pittbull was one of a kind then, she wasn't aggresive towards anyone, didn't bite anyone, didn't get out of the house to chase anyone or their animals. We trained her to be a good obedient dog and she had a wonderful personality. My friends brother was attacked by a pittbull, bitten in the face when he was younger, so he is super afraid of dogs but he loved my pittbull. He enjoyed her company when he visited.

I breed PITBULLS and it's my breed of choice because of all the things this dog can do that many others lack. Pit Bulls MUST BE BANNED! I was almost killed by one two days ago. Never in my life had this happened. I had German Sheppard, Rottweilers, etc loose, walking around without doing too much, but Pit Bulsl are not a breed to own, especially for young, dumb teen owners who think they are all G and gangsta walking around with these lethal weapons. I can't explain why people are so hateful to our dog. I have had to delete several really harsh comments on this video, but I am forever defending her to people who don't even know her. WHY? So... you posted a video about it? I had a friend who's Golden Retreiver growled at her baby. Gone. If you have a baby and a dog, you supervise them and learn to read all of a dog's signs. Dog rolls kid onto stomach and lays over it calmly, awww... NO! The dog is asserting dominance, and when the baby gets big enough to get up too quickly, the dog takes it's dominance to the next step. I have pit bulls, but I would never let someone else's baby get this close to one in it's home.

i'm not sure what the point of the video is. In the "about" section, you say YOUR dog attacked a BABY. That seems like a huge thing that you should comment on and perhaps you are anti-pitbull. But in the video, you presumably have your dog playing with a baby, like you are supporting pit bulls.

According the the CDC's studies and statistics of animal attacks resulting in serious injury or death pitbulls are responsible for 72% rotts are the next highest percentage with 18%. Pitbulls represent an estimated 2-5% of the all the dogs in the country, so the statistics aren't inaccurate due to the fact that a breed might be more common than others. Labs are much more common of a breed and represent an incredibly small statistic of attacks.

@TyrantKaiser that is a completely ridiculous argument. If you have any kind of larger dog no intelligent person would try to break in because they make too much noise. Nearly none of those attacks would be in the owners property, its almost always the pit getting off the chain. One of my friends was attacked getting off the school bus. They are aggressive dogs designed from day 1 to be more efficient killers through selective breeding.

@Cynicalprediction I guess my Pittbull was one of a kind then, she wasn't aggresive towards anyone, didn't bite anyone, didn't get out of the house to chase anyone or their animals. We trained her to be a good obedient dog and she had a wonderful personality. My friends brother was attacked by a pittbull, bitten in the face when he was younger, so he is super afraid of dogs but he loved my pittbull. He enjoyed her company when he visited.
Point - Not all Pitts are aggressive.

Wow! some more highly irresponsible parents,these dogs snap in a lightening second.I personally know of two cases of dogs like this that snapped.Both owners were experienced in keeping dogs,and very much of the understanding of the owner taking the Alpha position within the"Pack",I knew these dogs as well.One savaged a kids arm,the other got through a hedge in their garden attacked the neighbour and Killed and Partially ate their dog!! Lots of stories out there of pit bulls who were so sweet & gentle until one day they revert to what they were BRED to do & they savagely attack someone. The statistics clearly show that pit bulls are more dangerous, they killed 22 people last year, more than ALL the other dog breeds put together. That dog could have easily decided to attack that child & if it had, there is a strong possibility that the child would have been mauled to death before the pit bull could be gotten off of her. I breed PITBULLS and it's my breed of choice because of all the things this dog can do that many others lack. I have a stepdaughter that looks so much like the one in the video it's actually scary and a 4 year old nephew who only get caught playing in my dogs kennels and cages all the time, one time while one of my females just finish giving birth. I had German Sheppard, Rottweilers, etc loose, walking around without doing too much, but Pit Bulsl are not a breed to own, especially for young, dumb teen owners who think they are all G and gangsta walking around with these lethal weapons. I can't explain why people are so hateful to our dog. I have had to delete several really harsh comments on this video, but I am forever defending her to people who don't even know her. WHY? Our dog was adopted from a shelter where she wasn't aggressive enough to get to her food. She was nearly starving when we brought her home. She has been around children/babies from the time she was a puppy, and has never shown aggression. So much hate? I don't see it on other videos.

@teachbydefault Look, there have been many cases of pitbulls TURNING ON THEIR OWNERS. Just because you haven't had a problem with yours doesn't mean 1) that you never will, or 2) that there isn't a problem with this breed.
So, if one day your dog DOES attack you or one of your children, will you then post a video explaining what happened? Will you state in the video that you must have done something wrong in raising the dog, since it always seems to be that it's never the dog's fault?

So... you posted a video about it? I had a friend who's Golden Retreiver growled at her baby. Gone. If you have a baby and a dog, you supervise them and learn to read all of a dog's signs. Dog rolls kid onto stomach and lays over it calmly, awww... NO! The dog is asserting dominance, and when the baby gets big enough to get up too quickly, the dog takes it's dominance to the next step. I have pit bulls, but I would never let someone else's baby get this close to one in it's home.
