Tariq Bhai Qadir Fareedi was a bit late singer i think.. remember his classical jugalbandi with Naseem Begum in Mauseeqar? (his name is not given in credits cuz it was planned to be a Salamat Khan sahab with Madam Noor Jehan..but neither party agreed..aur achha hi hua kay ye gustakhi nahi ki gai.. Jaisay Noor Jehan film music mein mahtab hain wesay hi Salamat Nazakat Duo classical mein aftab hain :-)

wo log commercially use karkay lakhon kamatay hain..aur phir apni marzi say aksar jhankar beats daal kar music director ki rooh ko takleef detay hain.. even listener bhi aksar bad-remixes ki waja say ganay say mutanaffir ho jata hay.. Kuch indian old remix cd hain jin mein sensible remixing ki gai lekin wo kaam indians nay hi kiya hay aur under qualified musicians.

Have you ever heard of "revival series"? its an indian project of audio cds inwhich some 40 audio cds have been produced with sensible jhankar and dun contain any BEATS or DRUMS alteration.. baat audio ki ho rahi hay.. i used the words "kuchh indian old remix cd" did i say mm vcd or dvd or khandan?

Yes, it is from Sangdil, one of the most romantic songs ever written, with music to match, and outstanding singing, with Talat's soft voice and young Lata's voice incomparably romantic. Song is available on audio, movie also should be available, but I don't know where.

story was taken from mrs.james wood's 'east lyn' by syed imtiaz ali taj. camera man was m.n.malhotra (his work can be seen here, realy great)this film was one of the most waited films, the day it was released, others stopped their releases and on that day only one film was released and that was 'khandan' 12th march 1942, regal cinema lahore....

inaam, i agree 'a rare video'.in this film 'baby' was dropped from noor jehan's name and pran is hero here, his name was pran krishna (krishna was dropped in film too, so he always called pran only)its pancholi art's production, directed by shaukat hussain rizvi 'khandan' broke all previous collection record for urdu films.INAAM THANKS A LOT....KEEP IT UP
