That's exactly how I acquired Princess, my loyal cat of four years. Someone tossed her out of a car going forty down a major (for these parts) two-lane blacktop. I had just pulled into the gas station, when I saw her go flyin'. The owner of the station gave me a bottle of water, two old food tubs from the deli, and a bag of food, 'cuz it was a week til paycheck time. I'll never forget that old man's kindness. Ms. Diva Thang is chillin' on my bed right now, keeping watch over her domain.

My family has take in many a stray pregnant female cats. Then havebrought up their kittens. We then take them to the Pierce County humane who works with Petco to find good home for the kittens.
God help us it’s so hard to give up the kittens we love them so much :(
thats how i got my black cat. he was around 8 weeks old was driving down ky-54 and some dick tossed a cat out the window. i managed to stop before running over the cat and took him home. he died of old age at around 17 years old.
i can't stand people sometimes. their cruelty and ugliness make me ashamed to be human. animals don't do these horrible things to us. they don't throw their babies into trashcans like we do, or flush their newborns down toilets. animals are so much better than we are and they have higher ethical standards and morality than we do even though they are not intellectually developed very much. i love all animals and detest much of my own species. i hope this wonderful angel of God found a good home

I saw a news piece on tv the other day about a man who threw a bag of kittens into an intersection where traffic was heavy and all of them were killed but one, who was taken in by the kind woman who saved her. You would think that someone would be very ballsy to do something like this (because there's always an angry mob of people ready to kill them), but he was just a coward. He couldn't even look at these innocent kittens faces as he killed them. Thank God for the ones who help, not hurt.

I will never understand what goes through a persons mind when they choose to quite literally throw a life away. Years back when I was a kid our neighbor found a box of kittens in the middle of the highway, the mother had tried to protect them and had been killed by a car. The kittens were so young they didn't even have their eyes open and had to be bottle fed and helped to use the bathroom. We made sure every last one got a good home, and the one we kept was the most loving little beasty ever
I am shocked at the cruelty and inhumanity we show animals. 6 years ago a vehicle in front of me threw a 4 week old kitten out their window while driving. I stopped in the middle of the 4 lane hwy, and picked him up. Took him to the vet, ck'd out ok no injuries. He is currently sleeping on the couch next to me and I cant imagine not owning him. He is the sweetest, nicest cat I ever owned.

He crawled up into a bush and must have been there almost a week...for the life of me I couldn't figure out where all the crying was coming from. It sounded like it was coming drom everywhere...must have been wierd acoustics abainst my building. We got him to a vet, shots, nutered etc..we are crazy about him...we just love our cat

POOR BABY! It takes someone totally heartless to do something like that. :( It reminds me of an incident a few years ago when someone decided they were done with their dog - they actually drove by the ANIMAL SHELTER and threw it out the window. They didn't even slow down, and witnesses said they were going extremly fast. The poor pup wound up having to be put down because its injuries were so extensive. Makes me sick to think people are that cruel.

Reminds me of the stray kitten my mom found in the garage on my birthday. It had rained hard the night before and we found him eyes barely open, limp body, not meowing, and barely breathing. We had planned on nursing him back to health and then giving him away but in the end we kept him, our little "Tuxedo" cat Sylvester :3

How is she doing now? It's four years on. It makes me want to cry to think of someone doing something so incredibly mean and sick like throwing her out of a car and I hope he/she got what they deserved for that! This little girl has such sad eyes! :(

This cat and others like her are lucky to be alive! It seriously ticks me off why people harm innocent animals! I would so love to see people get the same treatment they did to these creatures! And thank the lord for those of us who actually have a heart for caring for these sweet caring/loving animals!

Some people are just heartless. One person dumped a cat at our doorstep with just a flea collar. We found out her tail had been broken in 3 places. She's perfectly happy...and a runt.

@henrychau202 yeah, it very well could have been born wild. I live in the suburbs of Boston and I found a kitten, about 7 weeks old crying his eyes out in my bushes. He crawled up into a bush and must have been there almost a week...for the life of me I couldn't figure out where all the crying was coming from. It sounded like it was coming drom everywhere...must have been wierd acoustics abainst my building. We got him to a vet, shots, nutered etc..we are crazy about him...we just love our cat

Animals are kind and loyal, and I bet when this cat was thrown out of the window of a moving car. She still thinks that it was accident and it was no ones fault. By the way, I hope the person who did that will be tortured immediately.

POOR BABY! It takes someone totally heartless to do something like that. :( It reminds me of an incident a few years ago when someone decided they were done with their dog - they actually drove by the ANIMAL SHELTER and threw it out the window. They didn't even slow down, and witnesses said they were going extremly fast. The poor pup wound up having to be put down because its injuries were so extensive. Makes me sick to think people are that cruel.

I just took in a kitten with no back leg that was abandoned... shes only 2 weeks old and we have no idea how long she was outside on her own for but long enough for her to get a cold and a eye infection. some people are cruel

The sick S.O.B. who threw this adorable little kitten out of a car window should be roped and hung upside down off the roof of a skyscraper for one day and one night... in 30 degree weather.... then the rope should be cut...with news cameras waiting on the sidewalk below to record the drop for the 6:00pm News! Reminds me of the stray kitten my mom found in the garage on my birthday. It had rained hard the night before and we found him eyes barely open, limp body, not meowing, and barely breathing. We had planned on nursing him back to health and then giving him away but in the end we kept him, our little "Tuxedo" cat Sylvester :3

Thank you to everyone who rescues and takes care of kittens (and other animals), whether it is from abusive homes, an adoption from the local shelter, or taking on the challenge of welcoming a stray into your home.
