Okay I've seen iron shirt demonstrations where a drop point sharp tipped sword was stopped an actually bent. But come one..when they show the tip of that fucking spear it damn near rounded. Human skin is very tough unless you add a variable. With a sharp point it takes only 1lb of force to pierce human skin. A rounded tip means the pressure is spread over a larger area thus it's far harder to pierce the skin.
