  • Guys im thinking to buy this computer

    -Inter Core 540 3.06ghz

    -Ram- 4gb DDR3

    -Monitor Acer Led 19polgadas

    Video Card-Ati 6850 1gb ddr5

Can this computer handle the maximum settings without breaking?

    Thank you

  • lol i have overclocking 4 ghz with my amd stock coller man :) temps run around 45-55 or something... :)

  • pouso na grama

    landing in grass

  • why buy such a shit CPU when u have such a seriously high-end graphics card?

  • @orkie55

What are you taking about the AMD phenom 2 black edition quad core is fink mint.

  • i bought today also the AmD cpu how much farmes do you egt in palens liek pmdg 747 while you record in add-ons ( high settings )

  • @kenan49 It averages over 100 FPS, I've seen it as high as 700ish and no less than 45.

I've converted it to liquid cooling and was able to push the OC even higher than I had it when I made this video and was air cooled.

  • @PUA687 Hi I have an AMD Phenom X4 965 3.5 Ghz a GTX 460 and 4Gb Ram ddr 3.

When I played fs 9 i have 15 fps in Paris Orly

  • i got a intelcorei7 4.5 Ghz so it will run awesome

  • i cant see why you would need to OC on FS2004 on that Processor

  • @spencedanny1 You don't. Even if you OC your PC FS2004 won't look any better than it does in a run of the mill PC, whereas FSX being resource hungry will utilize the additional computing power.

  • @PUA687 thats what i meant, on my FSX im averaging about 45 FPS low to the ground and ive had it as high as 167 at 32.000ft, i like fs2004 but ive got W7 64bit OS and unfortunately 90% of my add-ons wont run on it so i stick with FSX

  • my PC was not that great intel I got me a AMD cpu. : )

  • Nice overclock, my Phenom2 ("B55" unlocked 555 be) does 4 ghz on air.

  • @peso1000 Thanks, AMD rocks:-)

  • @peso1000 it's not the problem in overheat, problem is that processor can't hold more, it is starting to crash!

  • you noe that my laptop id 2gb ram intel chipset 1.6ghz processor, single core.

    playing fs2004

    best graphic...

  • i got mine up to 4GHz and i got dual 5770's... nice computer.. did you change the FSB or the multiplier more?

  • Any Card can play FS2004

  • @PSNcharlie97 I know. The point was that even with the best card and top of the line PC FS2004 will not look as good as FSX.

  • @PUA687 Oh really? Put REX, Ultimate Water Advanced and Active Sky Evolution to FS 2004 and it will be the same as FSX, but you`ll get more frames. Cheers

  • @s1201 I have, and FS2004 looks very nice but not as good as FSX in any scenario.

FS9 has better frame rates though. With everything maxed out I can get ±400 FPS with FS9 but FSX averages around 100 fps. It is irrelevant though since anything over 20 FPS will give you an excellent gaming experience and anything over 12 fps is playable. As you can see getting more frames doesn’t necessarily equate to a better gaming experience.

  • @PUA687 with that pc you get 100average fps in FSX? on MAXIMUM graphics? I dont think so..maybe in the GENERAL settings, but if you go to detailed settings and crank up ALL of the sliders to the right, you will probably get 15-20fps avergae in london, los angelas ect..you need 4.4ghz i7 980x, and a couple of 480's/5970's to run it MAXED with 25+fps...by the way, what cooling do you use?

  • @unkowndrunkenfrankli When I made the video it had a Zalman fan; it has been upgraded to liquid cooling since. Now It is cooled by a koolance EXOS with a 360 cooling block.

    Check it out here: youtube(dot)com/watch?v=kNPK5y-7Nyc

  • is that 500fps i can see ? haha

  • You don't need that kind of rig to play fs9.

I had an emachines walmart-box econo pc that i played fs9 on. It had a 2.0ghz SINGLE core athlon 3000+ series cpu, 128mb of INTEGRATED ati vram and 512mb of ddr ram. It could play fs9 at 1024x768 (native monitor res.) with all settings maxed out at a minimum of 20fps.

Now that rig would be necessary to play fsX at those settings and frame rates.

    Nice video either way! :D

  • @psychoclown420 Thanks, I agree.

  • What cooler??

  • @eclipse245 It's a Zalman CNPS9900 fan

  • from where did you get the plane with the vc ?

  • @fatty1997 FlightSoft

  • I liked the landing.

  • this game looks so terrible :X

  • turn on anti alaising

what graphics card do you have aswell its got a high score compared to my gt 240s 6.7

  • @CustomPcsUK my HD4670 scores a 6.8 :0

  • you can make a 1080p video easily. go for it!

  • lol the best to testing you hardware is the FXS whit SP2

  • i got the same specs but with an ATI card

  • yeah ofcourse you got an GTX295!!! and you play FS9 :Sxd

  • Too many wondering why I played FS9. I was trying to show that it does not matter if you have the latest hardware; FS9 does not look as good as FSX. On the other hand I have FS2004 and FSX and I have them installed and enjoy both.

  • damn i got almost the same specs as u just a different videocard the gtx275 and my damn fsx is framing like crazyyy

  • SSD?

    or wich HDD?

  • 4 WD 10,000rpm 300GB velociraptors

  • Windows 7 64bit edition

    AMD Phenom II X4 965 TrueQuad 3.4 GHz @ 3.9.0GHz

    MSI 790FX-GD70

    4GB DDR3

    EVGA GTX295

with this specs you played fs9...

    xD lol

  • nice i got mine to oc to 4.9 on standard fan using amd overdrive also oc my ram to run 833mhz from 686mhz

  • I couldn't neither get a stable OC nor an acceptable CPU temp beyond 3.9GHz and only using air to cool the CPU.

  • Some batches are worse then others, my brother hit 4.3 on stock parts, which is what prompted me to get my new system, waitin on it now.

  • only 30FPS with a 965 OC. hmmmmm you FPS are fluctuating bad so I dont beleived they are locked.

  • Maybe its his video card, think about it.

  • u no u can oc it to 4,5 just using air right. and til 5 with water cooling

  • yes but very expensive

  • i know my 9800gt isnt mine my dude gave me it for gaming now since im having enaught money to buy an XFX 5850

  • nice card

  • 250 gts is shit im having 9800gt and i gonna buy 5850

  • GTS 250 not so shitty, but it faster then 9800 gt definitely - I owned both.

You need to buy 2x 5750 and overclocked it :-) My Radeon 5750 overclocked beating GTX 260 at stock with 216 cores.

  • get 2x 5770, $20 more per card, OC way better

  • it is 39 per card = 40 per card. Nope a little bit to much, this time I am playing smart, then will do gt300 .... We will look what yummy they will offer.

  • From what i hear the 200 series, then 100 series.

they arent doing 300. NV100 or something was the codename. not sure what else to make of that

  • yes, yes, that what I heard, but I think 100 series will be so confused, especially when 200 is out plus 130 in laptops. I think 100 series was disinformation - however, I am not sure.

  • Yeah, the chip IS codenamed NV100 though, says right on thier homepage.

But I agree, they do need to come up with a new naming convention.

then again chip codename doesnt always represent thier chip retail names.

Like what ATI did with adding HD to thier names

  • agree, so on based that I am thinking it will be Geforce GTX 3xx - the title not the chip codename :-)

  • Yeah, most likely. or something else totally cuz of DX11. I cant keep track with nvidia, so much rebranded crap from those guys

  • yeah, I agreed, I think it just because marketing as again. Well, so far Radeon 5750 1gb 128bit video card is the best money can buy dollar vs performance.

  • i got a 5770 for only $20 more then the 5750

and it has quite a bit more to offer. at least since the price drop on all 5770's

  • Yes, but I decided to feel what low budget with brain feels like. If it is not 10 dollars more I am not buying it. Trying to be smart, I am running 5750 = 900Mhz on gpu (beyond 870 by AMd Overdrive) will be make a pro tutorial how to fool AMD driver, and gddr5 1250. I am getting same performance for free! yea yeah , I know 5770 as well as 5850 and what? :-) Peace!

  • but wait, 5770 is 900mhz without overclocking

and its GDDR5 ram is 1800, how are you getting the same performace

the 5750 also has 40 less cores

  • well, I got ya know, My board 5750 1gb 128bit cost me 129.99 free shipping from sapphiere, your asus is not 20 dollars it is 39.99 bucks more like I said. So I am right,by the prices outside of our windows Feb 2010. It is not 20 dollars more like you said it is 39.99 more then my 129.99 dollars card. So I guess, i got my point right!

  • no, you shop at the wrong store. lol you didnt make any point at all, except maybe not all retailers are created equal

  • prove it, where can i buy for 149.99 with free shipping? :-)

  • Shipping? lol i go down the street a few blocks. rofl go outside, better deals believe it or not offline

  • @samljer LIAR make a photo of your super dooper store where you can get super dooper deals

  • Sorry, who are you? and what are you talking about? and why do i have to prove something to you?

  • ahahah don't pretend like you don't know what i'm talking abou....t i replied to you . see your post dummy.next time you talk about something make sure you have facts to support your shitty statements... frankly i knew you would come up with something like this because everything you said was a lie... i don't need any proof from you since you already proved your failure. dickeater. bye

  • No i didnt know, lots of douches on youtube.

I do now however, and for someone as small as you how can you expect me to go anywhere to take a picture to prove anything to you? your nothing to me, and imagine nothing to most people, get over yourself, cunt

  • I just stabaly overclocked my 5770 to

    1025 mhz core and 2100 ram :D

cmon, $20 more ya cant beat that. lol

  • Lier, overdrive technology will let you pushed over 970 Mhz on 5770. Only if you will use my method how to fool the driver you will be able to do so,. but there is no other ways. And since, you dont know how to do so, you cant! Why are you lying?

  • I didnt use overdrive, i used some tool from asus in the bios of my board, i assure u, i did not lie.

  • My Radeon 5750 cost me 129 bucks with free delivery. I have 20 inch monitor, so I dont need Crossfire yet.

  • have u got amd phenom x4 9650 or 965?

cus i wana get 9650 but its 2.3 ghz. wtf?

  • I have the AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz

The 9650 is a 1st generation Phenom, not a Phenom II, and you are right it's only 2.3GHz out of the box.

  • how did u get active camera to work

  • I did not use active camera. Just the 's' key.

  • did u have to update the bios on that chipset for the new 965 processor?

  • No. It worked out of the box. I did update bios to the lastest version for memory compatibility.

  • what hard drive(s) do you use for this?

  • I use six 74GB 10,000rpm WD Raptors in a RAID 0 configuration.

  • what is the average mb/s in hdtune?

  • MB/sec is 84.+ seek time is 6.9 ms. It is noticeably faster than any single HD, even a single velociraptor, or than any regular (7200rpm) HD raid zero I've tried.

I use satellite photography from Megascenery, I have several GBs worth and it can fetch it quite faster than a single drive can.

  • o.o only 84? with my seagate 7200.12 1 tb drive i get at least 100 average (when not overclocked)

  • It may be b/c it was the rating of a single drive not in RAID, I'm relying on memory the PC is at home I'm at work. I'll check it later and let you know.

  • well it recognizes that the drives are in RAID and tests it if its set as the main drive. im just wondering what disk you have because we have almost the same ratings except for the hard drives (mine are always 5.9, my processor at 7.4 (phenom II 550, unlocked to quad at 3.6 ghz), ram at 7.4(ddr2 800 ocz fatal1ty). 4870 at 7.6 for both graphics

  • Here is the HDTune benchmark: Min 96.8 MB/sec Max 129.2 MB/sec Avg 115.9 MB/sec Access time 7.3ms W7 -64bit subscores: Seagate 7200rpm 5.9 WD Raptor 10,000 rpm 6.0 WD Velociraptor 10.000rpm 6.1 2-WD Velociraptor 10,000 rpm Raid0 6.2 6-WD Raptor 10,000 rpm RAID0 6.6
  • The first results of HDTune were using a block size of 64KB, but I configured my RAID0 with128KB block size.

I run the benchmark a second time, and here are results:

    Min 98.2 MB/sec

    Max 195.1 MB/sec

    Avg 143.8 MB/sec

    Access time 7.3ms

  • okay, so this seems more like it

  • 7.8 is the best rate in subcore?

  • Yes

  • Yes, 7.8 is the highest subscore. The lowest is 6.6 on HD data transfer rate.

  • lol y not fsx :?S

  • check your anisotropic filter and anti-aliasing for better view

  • Thanks for your comment and advise. I will check them; it looks like there is room for improvement through anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.

I usually fly in FSX and I'm familiar with those settings, but I missed them in FS2004.

  • nice vid, you have a good computer

  • nice specs
