  • thats a plug not a patch an there is most likely a tube in it an you put a hole in your tube you sould just take it some where next time

  • Your supposed to inflate the tire first to operating pressure. Then you should coat the plug with rubber cement. Finally, your supposed to drive at a low speed for a few miles right after so the rubber heats up and bonds together. When your crappy plug job fails, you can do it right the next time.

  • lol with a hole like that i shove a screw through it with some rubber cement on the threads lol

  • Thats not a patch, its a plug.

  • can you say plug? and they never hold on a lawn mower tire

  • I really like that tread design.. Got to patch a few of mine so il see how it works. (never done it before)

  • that will last the life of the tire. my lawn tractor has 6 plugs in it .the next time you do it fill the tire with air first. it makes it a lot easier to plug and keep the tire on the ground thanks for posting

  • looks like around 2:00 he took some speed then when he comes off he mogicaly lost his shirt lol

  • This is a tire PLUG, not a patch. Patch is done from the inside of the tire, after removing the tire from the rim.

  • heyy,, they say not to use these things in a side wall but hey well do it anyways coz ima redneck :D

  • fast forward and three weeks later... :D

  • im sorry but at 1:54 you sound like a character in animal crossing lol

  • ooh thats how u do it ... , thanks

  • That's a tire plug, not a patch. big difference.

  • isnt this called plugging.. patching requires you to seal the inside of the tyre..

  • @geico1212 yeah this is just plugging

  • shoulda slimed it.

  • take it off the wheel and patch it. That's a plug, and you're supposed to have air in the tire while you plug it. So when you ream it you get all the cords surrounding the injury cleaned. it doesn't need a few hours, a plug is an instant repair, designed to get you somewhere to have your tire fixed properly.

  • is it just me or do the you tube videos take forvever to load?

  • @cotequadsport

They take awhile, but only if you have a slow connection. And the quality of the video has alot to do with it too...

  • @cotequadsport I THINK ITS YOUTUBE CAUSE I HAVE SAME PROBLEM I WAS GONNA START PUNCHING MY COMPUTER BUT NOW I SEE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE...

  • put some weight on, cowboy

  • u dont have to wait 1 hr

  • Surprisingly, those plugs can last a long time. But I would cut all but a tiny bit off (use a razor blade) the end so only a little bit protrudes from the tire. Otherwise something might rub against the part of the plug sticking out and will rip the plug out of the tire. 5/5

  • Don't know . . you may have to do some fast Cornering . . X D

    Nice cheap fix : D

  • great info, dave has a vid just like this

  • Just keep it off the highway and you'll be fine lol. I use those plugs all the time on car, truck, tractor and trailer tires. They work great.

  • Ive done that before on my 92 white- works good for a long time- i need to pick up a repair kit- have a couple others that need fixing.

  • Great Short Film Mate :-D

  • its really pulging a tire and if you ream it out to far it wont seal and a tip its a lot easeier to plug it when it has air in it

  • great video

  • Yep, that should be OK on a slow moving tractor... the whole side wall issue is just for cars that travel at high speeds, and take corners on 2 wheels.... your tractor does not do anything close to that.... oh WAIT, YOU are CHUCK, your tractor may end up on 2 wheels after all.... :-p

  • don't use on a car side wall , a tractor will be fine

  • nice, great video 5 stars
