  • hmz bin so einsam

  • Is it possible for you to become a YouTube Partner? Or would any sort of copyright or other problem prevent that?

  • wow this is amazing O.O

  • @Hauntershadow thanks for the mix

I've been following your works in the last weeks , Metroid was the thing that attracted most and made end up subscribed to your channel ^^

I have a question if you dont mind ... Who is your favorite music composer in video games indusrty ??

  • Can you do a mix with the True Arena theme?

  • gannon is a pig for a reason, he is a glutton for power, and his final form signifies it. SYMBOLISM FTW!

  • @robloxfan459 THIS. Probably the primary reason why Nintendo made him a pig/boar to begin with. Sure, some say dragons are a symbol of power, but Ganon's a power-hungry pig, and enough will NEVER be enough. He's not worthy of being a dragon because dragons actually have... y'know, ENOUGH power. BTW, a little fun fact: one of Ganondorf's moves in SSBM & SSBB is called "Gerudo Dragon."

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster oohhh coooooool. i wonder if they will ever make a game where GANNON is the star, where you explore the entire extent of his pastD:

  • @robloxfan459 For some reason, I don't see that happening. It's pretty much been set in-stone that Ganon's past will always be a mystery to us. Given how different each Zelda game is from one another, and the questionable nature of the series timeline, it may be truly impossible to explore his past. The story in one of the games hints that there is more than one Link... perhaps there's more than one Ganon, too?

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster true, but if you pay attention to the story, the only DIRECT sequal in the series is majoras mask to OOT. essentially, its implying they are either in different timelines or in different dimensions, so yea i think its possible there is more than 1, but im not sure...

  • @robloxfan459 Correction: there are TWO direct sequels. OOT had Majora's Mask while the original NES Zelda had Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Zelda II was the first game to NOT feature Ganon as the final boss, and also introduced Dark Link, who took Ganon's place as the final boss. He wasn't officially called Dark Link until OOT, though.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster interestingly, gannon has appeared in all but 5 games in the zelda franchise. LOZ 2, Majoras Mask, Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks. technicly, he may not appear in skyward, but its possible the new villian is just a front, like zant was. also, i didn't think number 1 and 2 were connected, i thought they were in different centuries...

  • @robloxfan459 Oh, LoZ 1 & 2 are most definitely connected. You remember how Link collected pieces of 2 parts of the Triforce in the 1st & 2nd quests of Zelda 1? Well, by doing whatever it was he was doing in Zelda 2, he would gain the 3rd part of the Triforce, which he needed in order to wake Zelda from a sleeping curse Ganon's minions cast on her after his death in Zelda one. They also wanted to use Link's blood to revive Ganon. How Dark Link fits into the mix was (and still is) anyone's guess.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster he found zelda concious within the final temple, and he already had the triforce of courage. he didnt NEED to wake zelda in number 2 because she wasnt asleep in the first place!

  • @robloxfan459 She was asleep. She only seemed awake at the end of Zelda 1 because the sleeping curse happened sometime between Zelda 1 & 2. Also, at that point in time, Link hadn't obtained the Triforce of Courage yet. I'm guessing that's the piece he was looking for in Zelda 2. Nowhere in the story of Zelda 1 did it say Link already had the Triforce of Courage.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster all of zelda's desendants were ALSO named zelda, so while it may have been a different time period, it could have very easily been one of zelda's desendents, therefore NOT a direct sequel! btw i hope you know im not debating this to be a jerk, i find this interesting:)

  • @robloxfan459 Wait... where did you get that info from? All of Zelda's descendants being named Zelda? That's the wierdest thing I've ever heard... and I'm qute sure that Zelda 2 was a direct sequel. In fact, I think Miyamoto himself confirmed it in an interview (in which I THINK he also said LttP was a prequel). Also, I find debating this interesting, too.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster hmm...ok you win this round. i got the info about zelda off of (burn me on a stake) wikipedia, and we al know how incorrect THAT can be:(. anyway, if miyamoto confirmed that the first and second were the similar games, then i guess i got nothing:) anyway, did you know that SW is going to be a prequel to OOT?

  • @robloxfan459 Yeah... the only time a Wiki is ever reliable is when it isn't part of the Wikia network. Period. Also, I thought SW (I'm assuming you mean Skyward Sword) was going to tie into TP somewhere... not entirely sure on that. It'd be nice if it connected TP to OOT in some way, and not leave TP hanging at some distant point in the timeline.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster nope, SW is a prequel to OOT, they are even going to be brushing apon the origins of ganon slightly:)

  • @robloxfan459 Origins of Ganon... I've officially got my eyes on this one... not my hawkeyes, of course, since those are reserved for Sonic Generations, but I do officially have my eyes peeled on Skyward Sword... this'll be interesting to watch... but... okay, so as per the timeline, we have SW, then OOT, and then Majora's Mask, but where is TP in all this? Also, I take it this info isn't from Wikipedia?

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster

ok, here we go. there have so far been only a few solid "Direct sequels". LoZ and LA are the first ones made, then OoT and MM, then WW and PH. The "All descendants are named Zelda" first popped up around LA, as part of the backstory and the curse stuff. since then every time Hyrule is brought up, you see Zelda. Ganondorf/Ganon pops in and out of the story. From cursed warrior of the desert, revived mindless beast, power hungry man with powerful magic, sealed, killed, etc.

  • @LintuWaterfall Yeah, I did a bit of digging, and you're right, it was mentioned that all of Zelda's descendants were named Zelda. There's one catch, though: some things are either changed (like Sonic's home planet being named Mobius instead of Earth) or are lost in translation (as with the original Splatterhouse trilogy timeline.) I suspect the "all descendants have the same name" thing was a screw-up on America's part unless it was really like that in the original Japanese story.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster well since Zelda has been in pretty much just about every game, or at least mentioned, then whether it was a translation flob or not, looks like Miyamoto is just gonna stick with it.

  • @LintuWaterfall Or, the Zelda timeline might be like the Megaman timeline; that is, it's not just one timeline, but multiple timelines with subtle-yet-unimportant bits that allude to the others. (Like how you can find references to OOT in both TP and WW despite the two not having much relation to OOT or each other aside from character names and similar plotlines.) Honestly, I don't think Miyamoto is actually running with the whole "Zelda's descendants are named Zelda" idea.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster haven't a lot of people more or less agreed to the fan-made "split-timeline" where OoT split the time line and that TP follows one while WW follows the other?

  • @LintuWaterfall I'm guessing so. Now if only Miyamoto would yank that "fan-made" tag off of the split-timeline so we can quit racking our brains over it and go wig-out on another series' timeline. (Yeah, I wish.)

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster the problem is that if Nintendo DOES come out with an OFFICIAL time-line, then that will limit a lot of future possibilities for the series. So until Nintendo hangs up their odd hats, and puts their sword and shields away, we won't be getting anything out of the Big N Empire

  • @LintuWaterfall Not necessarily. If the official timeline were a SPLIT-timeline, that basically means that there would be two different timelines to work with. Therefore, double the possibilities for sequels (and possibly a prequel or two). Heck, they could split THOSE timelines, and then we'd have FOUR. That's quadruple the possibilities. As long as it isn't one big timeline (like Metroid's timeline), there shouldn't be a problem.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster

YES it would. if a game went in between points on EITHER type of line, then it would demand an explanation as to how it fits. the "Valley Of The Flood" idea is an example that is between one end of OoT and WW and told what happened during the flood, i.e. you aren't Link and there is NO saving Hyrule. If it's after a "Ganon Death" like TP and WW then we have to make another big bad or somehow revive Ganon, or copy LA's plot.

  • @LintuWaterfall You know, Ninty could always put the current timeline on the back burner and start a new one. Sure, it'd be confusing, but if Capcom can do it with Megaman and get away with it... I don't see why the Big N couldn't do it too. (Unless that also poses problems.) Also, why do game seemingly HAVE to go between points on the timeline? What's so wrong with having more sequels tacked onto the END of the timeline?

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster I envision the same problem with shifting to a different timeline would be the same as timeline trouble in comic books. All the knowledge long time fans had collected over the years and anylized would be pointless. And as for sequels, I already brought that up at the end of my last post. Either NO Link, NEW Big Bad, OR stop Ganon's revival. NO Link would be a problem since Link is ALWAYS the lead guy.

    CONTINUE~

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster CONTINUE~

NEW villain could suffer same fate as Malodus from ST and be known as just a Ganon Clone, or PH where it was more annoying at parts and anticlimactic at the end. STOPPING Big G's revival would be like what part of LA's plot was, where the goal of the monsters was to kill you so they could use your blood to revive him.

PLUS for it to be a sequel, it would have to be right after the previous game, or on the direct line with it.

    CONTINUE~

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster CONTINUE~

the "right after" approach is the bane of all story based games. the problem? what the hell happened to all the gear, hearts, and magic you had in the last game? some people don't care, but it REALLY ticks off other people unless they get an explanation they can accept.

(P.S. to HunterShadow - Sorry for debating on one of your videos. Your music is awesome.)

  • @LintuWaterfall (Agreed, music is awesome. My apologies for the legthy debate.) The only thing I can see happening then is if they started another timeline from scratch regardless of what's happening in the current one. Personally, I've always wanted to see Ninty try to do something insane with the series (multiple endings, ending on a cliffhanger and offering no explanation of what happened, making a time paradox, etc.)

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster it would be to big a risk for such a solid series. I mean look at Link's Crossbow Training, not many people know of it's existence.

  • @LintuWaterfall There's a reason for that: virtually every Zelda game ever made was a high-profile game with TONS of advertisement. Link's Crossbow Training wasn't a high-profile game; it was nothing more than a dinky, low-profile, pack-in game for the Wii Zapper. The Super Scope for SNES, and the Menacer for Sega Genesis are much earlier examples of this, as they too had little games packed with them. It was just a marketing gimmick.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster dark link was ganons shadow wasnt it?

  • @firebow333 I'm pretty sure Dark Link was Link's shadow given form. That's likely why he was called Shadow Link back then. The question remains of why he was trying to help revive Ganon. Was he just another of Ganon's grunts, or did have a bigger plan in mind? We'll never know.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster I thought it was since Ganons minions were so close to reviving him, and all they needed was Link, they were able to revive him slightly in the form of Link's shadow

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster In Zelda II, Shadow Link only appeared as the final test before the Triforce of Courage: Only those who could defeat their own inner shadow could retrieve it. Link, of course, managed to do this. Shadow Link never tried to revive Ganon himself, but it's possible that he would have if Link lost and got taken over by his own evil.

Dark Link appears later, but he didn't seem to be much more than a clone either. I don't think any of them have an agenda of their own.

  • @KatukoThunderToa I've always thought of Dark Link as being more than just a clone. I think there might have been something in it for him if he ever does manage to defeat Link. Also, I thought Shadow Link had allied himself with Ganon's forces (or what's left of 'em) in Zelda 2, maybe because he was forced into it, but more likely that he joined for his own reasons. (Reasons that are to this day unknown.) Until Nintendo decides to explain it all, Dark Link will always be a complete mystery.

  • @firebow333 Nah, he's Link's shadow, but whether it was Ganon who created him or not is a bit vague. In Zelda 2 it is almost certain that "Dark Link" would take the form of anyone who enters the Triforce chamber (to test their strength), but in Ocarina of Time the Water Temple was definitely under Ganon's control at the time, so that version of Dark Link might have been Ganon's doing. I still don't see any of them as more than a spell set to clone whoever faces it, though.

  • @KatukoThunderToa The Water Temple may have been under Ganon's control, but that doesn't mean Dark Link being there was Ganon's doing. Also, do shadows of people normally have creepy red glowing (sometimes beady) eyes? I think there's more to Dark Link than we'll ever know... then again, he IS just a shadow given a life of his own, but perhaps in doing so, he stopped being a shadow and became a character all his own. I think Ganon had no real involvement in his creation.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster Yes, evil shadows tend to have glowing red eyes. Ganon may not have created him, but I think it's safe to say that the Water Temple was the same deal as the Great Temple: A spell set to draw out the evil inside a person and force them to fight it. Dark Link is his own character in other places, such as Four Swords Adventures and an old Legend of Zelda 2 comic, but I'm reluctant to call him and the in-game Great/Water Temple clones the same being.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster The first piece was Wisdom, which Zelda had scattered across Hyrule to hide from Ganon. The second was Power, looted from Ganon's corpse. Then came Zelda 2, where Courage was found in the Great Temple. We clearly see Shadow/Dark Link jump out of Link himself just as the room turns black and purple. Once he is defeated, an old man appears and gives Link the final piece of the Triforce. Evidently this Dark Link was just a projection, a sort of test to prove your worth.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster I completely agree that Nintendo would most likely deviate from pursuing that kind of generic inclusion.

  • @Hauntershadow It IS worth noting, however, that Nintendo has always had ways of twisting clichés into completely new and original ideas. Super Mario Galaxy is a good example; how many times has so-&-so gone into space? You'd never expect it to happen to Mario, but it did, and we got a masterpiece as a result. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Link fought Dragon Ganon some day... but only if they can twist it in some unique way.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster Onox turned into a dragon at the end of Oracle of Seasons, and there have been several dragon-like bosses (Aquamentus, Volvagia, Trinexx, Stallord and definitely Argorok), so I think Nintendo just might skip it altogether because Link has fought his fair share of dragons already. :)

  • @KatukoThunderToa Agreed, but these are just bosses, not the true villain. I know Onox was the final boss of OOS, but if I recall correctly, Ganon was pulling the strings the entire time, not unlike Veran's case in OOA. BTW, did you notice that the abbreviations for OOT, OOA, & OOS all start with "OO?" Makes me wonder if there's supposed to be a bigger meaning to that...

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster The thing is that after defeating dragons earlier, getting a dragon as a final boss just feels like more of the same, right? Pig-Ganon felt very intimidating at the end of OoT, but I think that he might have been less so if he was clearly a recognizable "dragon boss" and not "oh snap, a monsteeeeer!" :D

  • @KatukoThunderToa That's kinda why I would equate Dragon Ganon to being an alternate ending of sorts. A less imposing beast for a less spectacular ending, unless you did something in-game. Of course, there has never been an alternate ending in a Zelda game except for LttP on GBA, where you fought 4 Dark Links in an extra dungeon and got a credits screen after defeating them. (But the only way to gain access to the dungeon is to complete Four Swords, which NEEDS you to have more than 1 player...)

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster That's exactly why I thought this would have happened already. The cliché is so strong to resist. At this point in the series, the notion doesn't fit the creative mold of the Zelda series. However, if a Dragon Ganon appeared in the first couple of games, I'd not be surprised.

  • Knowing Nintendo, the whole Dragon Ganon thing may never happen because it's just so cliché. Think about it. What kind of weapon does Link use? What kind of weapon do epic heroes of fairytales and medieval folklore use to slay dragons? I think Ninty was trying make Zelda games not be like the aforementioned folklore by not having the main villain be a dragon... though given what they did to Boar Ganon in Twilight Princess... I'd take a dragon over that pushover any day.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster That said, I agree that Dragon Ganon would be an awesome fight, but it would feel rather cliché since it's been done billions of times before, albeit not in a Zelda game.

  • @SynobazzCircutMaster Yes, the reality is obvious, but that's why we have our imagination, don'tbe so cynical, you'll end up as bad as me.

    .!...errr... :d

  • @Hysteria98 Cynical? Who's being cynical? I'm just being annoying by stating the obvious. If Dragon Ganon DID appear in a game though... I'd actually equate him to being part of an alternate ending, which, if I recall correctly, has never been done in a Zelda game before. Not even the CD-I games. (Oh yeah, I just went there... Speaking of CD-I stuff, Morshu should appear in another game. Preferably GOOD one, made by Nintendo.)

  • :Q

    *wipes away with sleeve*

  • @strongbadman7 I'm really surprised he's never taken that kind of form in any of his appearances in-game. Oh well. TY, man. I do the best I can. :)

  • I can imagine a "Dragon Ganon" would make for a kick-ass boss fight. :P

Once again, great job Haunt. Keep up the awesome work!

  • @Miandris Go ahead. This was meant for gameplay anyway, so I'd be intrigued as to how you might find use for the song.

  • I must admit this is a definitive improvement. Easily beats the original of both and seemlessly blended. Excellent work.

  • @darthnemesis02 The ganon picture I found with a quick google search. You should be able to find it easily with a similar search.

  • *le gasps* youtube subscription has been late recently... I should fail I complete because this awesome mix is really awesome :O like im having problems with trying to figure out which lair of sound is to which song.

  • Dude this is fucking awesome. Sounds like a legit boss theme.

  • @TheLegendTamer Glad you did. :) Boss themes are generally awesome.

  • That was AWESOME! I <3'd it.

  • I'm fairly certain I've been saying this on nearly every video since I've subscribed, and never really followed through, but could I use this in a game? Giving credit, of course.

  • I have a suggestion. Use Rawk Hawk's Theme from Paper Mario: TYD with a Zelda or Metroid Prime song. That would be epicosity.

  • Nothing but sheer awesomeness here!

  • I can imagine Ganon absorbing all 3 pieces of the triforce and link has to save the world using nothing but his wits skills and courage to defeat him with this song playing.

  • Cool, sounds pretty intense.

  • Nice!!!

  • Wow. I'd love to beat the shit out of this boss: some sort of flying Ganon. O.O

  • Short, but oh-so-awesome.

  • And here I thought I would never see a remix featuring Ganon's theme...

Once again, you never stop surprising me :)

  • ahh sega, why did you abandon panzer dragoon? It was such a good series.

Sega I beg of you to make more panzer dragoon and Phantasy star games.

  • Fantastic work! Can't wait for the link

  • @bufothetoad1 I swear it's coincidence, although it is unsettlingly true. Maybe I should just sleep instead. XD

  • @Hauntershadow are you lacking sleep?

  • @Hauntershadow WOW! Where did you get that AWESOME art work of Ganon. I've never seen it before and its very well done. Great job again on another cool Mix. (One a side note I think I found a good theme that goes with Kraid's battle theme from Metroid: Andross'es Brain from Star Fox 64.)

  • @Hauntershadow Just wondering whats your favourite nintendo hero and villian and why are the your favourite. Just curious.

  • Best final battle music mashup ever....of all time.

  • Now it sounds even more epic! That said, GREAT mashup!

  • I am noticing a pattern in uploads... 2:00AM

  • This is quite excellent!

  • What mix did you NOT make that"s awesome because in high school I hum during tests of you themes

  • Great as always~

  • Incredible!! like always^-^

Now I feel like playing "Ocarina of Time" again -UN-bags and dusts off 64-

  • @1Darkkey not going 3D? :P

  • @LintuWaterfall This made me Laugh XD LoL No sorry I don't have a 3DS.-_-

  • If Beast Ganon suddenly had an evolution that made him somewhat threatening and gave him wings and the ability to not get pwned by a hookshot, this would be his music. Sadly, he'd still be a cakewalk.

Awesome mix, the combination makes it sound like Metroid.
