ya American sucks. from San Diego its supposed to take like 5 1/2 hours to get to Hawaii, but when i went with american, it took 14 altogether. terrible.
Have you made an official complaint to the airlines yet? Did you ask for a personal apology from the flight attendants through the CEO and a written apology from the CEO? If not, why has your family not taken action? Did you include the requirement for monetary compensation for delays and hotels? If not, why not? Are you aware that you have rights? You should never let anyone get away with the way they treated you. If you let them fly by on this; then they just get more rude to each customer.

That whole ordeal sounds exhausting! I personally don't fly much, but my dad has had experience with rude flight attendants and such.

What a travel nightmare. I'm planning on a flight to the USA and around the country this year. I will definitely avoid this airline!
