@newyorkangel1 this song is difficult to sing ? In my opinion (which isn't worth much regarding music) it's pretty easy. I sang it when i used to listen to it, without much problem. Now if that was good i can't say, but holding breath and so on isn't as difficult as many song (in alterbridge for example).
Nodules on your vocal chords can make even the best singer need to go through surgery and a long slow healing process. Hopefully we can have him back like this again. Still love the band and what it brought to me and others that struggled with life and getting through darkness.

They will be playing My Own Prison and Human Clay in their entirety between 2 nights. The only cities announced at the moment are Chicago, IL : Upper Darby, PA : New York, NY. THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME THING! ATTEND THIS!
I noticed he even sounded different on the cd. I do miss the old voice, though. It's what attracted me to them when I was 9 or however old I was. I've always liked his voice.
He had to go through vocal cord surgery and he is a vocalist of coarse hes going to sound different, but I think he is healed now and I bet he sounds just as good as he did.

Look at singers like Klaus from the Scorpions...he has the best voice in rock and roll and has never lost it. Too bad.

Not a chance that he was lip syncing... I was there... right in front of him and believe it or not at one point in his life his voice was just that great LIVE!... as a matter of fact... he began losing his voice during the concert. They almost cancelled because he was sick a couple days before the concert. One of the best I've been to and I've been to a ton.
umm he hit it on the album and by the way no way scott would do that or would have definitely lipsang on this new tour because he sounds horrible now no offense but he's lost his voice

you do realize that in this vid he pushes his voice more than it can go.
no mean to disrespect,i like the outcome,but this is voice abuse, that's why he doesn't sound the same anymore.
also if you compare this video to others from years>2009, there is a noticeable change in his technique.

this is not a live performance you can here its the cd audio, its not synchronized and Scott will never hit the notes like that.
