Wii Video Problem Part 3

You wii's GPU has gone bad, or was bad to begin with. It needs repaired.

Tomorrow is March 1st. I bought my Wii on launch day and have sent my Wii to repair this problem twice. It's supposed to arrive from repair #2 tomorrow. Nintendo is NOT speedy when it comes to repairing systems, so in these three months my Wii's spent 6 of them in the repair process.

have you got the wii in the stand? otherwise it overheats

I've used the Wii with a stand since I got it.

You're not pushing the signal through a component switch by any chance?

Nope. Also tried composite and the problem still shows up.

i didnt seem to notice any issue simmilar to this when i got my taste of the Wii. Possibly a certain shipment got a faulty graphics card?

I've heard that it's because of the GPU overheating but Nintendo hasn't said anything yet.

Yeah buddy i have the exact problem with my wii...its on every game you play, those dots are annoying im trying to find a solution best thing i came up with it is return it and get a new one...

Those weird looking sparkles/pixels shouldn't be there.
