do u know if it is possibe to make a torch out of a propane tank, the ones used for bbqs? im trying to figure out how to fill a balloon with the stuff. i know it works with torches, so thats why im wondering.
that's actually a fuel-air bomb, the propane's the fuel and the oxygen's the air, creates a huge, low velocity shockwave, the reason the window broke, if you would have been within 25 feet of that you'd likely be dead or at least in critical condition from internal bleeding just from the shockwave.
@slave145 OK wow... this is really a major pet peeve of mine. I fluid above its critical temperature can NOT exist as a fluid. oxygen has hers at -181.4 F. If you don't understand this and don't want to take 3 years of thermodynamics, read about it on Wikipedia. I'm not trying to be a dick here, but people should know what they are taking about.
P.S to the men who have oxygen cutting torches.... there is NO liquid in the tanks, just gas under pressure.
o yeah

You're grounded!

be careful. oxyliquits(explosives made with liquid oxigen and a fuel) are very reactive

@hybridpyrotech FYI oxygen can NOT exist as a liquid above -181.4 F.... It was not that cold that day lol

@thEwicKiE i get your point but its pretty much the same

@thEwicKiE i get your point but its pretty much the same except its in its gas state

@thEwicKiE It can under pressure :)
