  • In my mind the slowdown is a testament to the programmer's abilities. They were pushing the hardware to do things that had never been imagined by it's designers. That tiny little CPU was made to work like crazy - you can almost feel every processor cycle happening! Programmers these days certainly have it easier with resources.

  • Ah love it!! I was 12/13 years old in 84 and played that game a lot, now im hooked up with WOW ;)

  • yeah, reminds me on my first steps,at Computer games. My good old Spectrum.Anyone remember Sabre Wulf or Atic Atac?

  • Games like "Batman" or "Head and Heels" were based on this one or at least shared a very similar scheme, appearance etc.

  • This seems to get slower than the other versions, or what do you say?

  • One of the very best games on the CPC. The "3D" (isometric) view with animations is very impressing for the date it's been released. It may feel an empty game but it was really exciting and cool to play. I think it's the only game I ever completed to the end!

Alien 8 was also in the same trend.

  • This is made funnier by the fact it's actually managing to lag.

  • Thanks for the amazing memories!!!!

  • this game needed more enemies in it. It just feels empty.

  • LOL@the slowdown, the sound effects are hilarious.

  • LOLO 4:45 owned cos he was turning into a wolf

  • dis woz de origanal amstrad cpc464 version of da game. yo i jus got 94% on da msx2 remake . . . . cum wif it peeple

VOTO = 10

  • i wanna play this on my mac . . . . can anyone tell me if you can download it ?

  • hahaha is a fucking game

  • Comment removed

  • Wow can't believe it! I miss this game so much! Is there a version of it I can download on my mac or Iphone and if not there should be!

  • get a emulator

  • j'etais un gamin quand je jouais àce jeu!

  • Stop - Sabre Time.

  • WAY-HEY!!! We had this on our Amstrad (in all its spectacular greenish glory!) It's amazing listening to all the silly sounds. They bring back good good memories. Thank-you so much. I'm 8 years old again! :-)

  • +1 ;)

  • it looks so far ahead of its time wich is 1985

  • looks like a real challenge!

  • LOL! What's with the crappy walking sounds on this version? And the shite colour scheme? Gimme the speccy version anyday.

  • Hahahaa. I saw this on the Amstrad first.

That shite colour scheme is just pandering to a CPC's 4 colour audience; and they only used three colours! I agree with the walking sound though. That was monotonous.

  • OMG I loved this game. I spent *days* wrapped around it, staying up all night & sleeping all day. Thank you for uploading it. :)

  • Good stuff, indeed. Memories...

By the way, did anyone ever NOT use the directional control option? ;)

  • I played months with turn*walk then i discovered Directional Control lol. and after years when i played Alone in the dark 1, i had no problems with steering :) was good training

  • That brings back some memories :D

Must have started playing this game when I was about 3 or 4 years old!
