Thanks. I miss my robins. There were there for just a little while and then I came home to see them and they are gone. They camped under my deck. So I dropped sliced strawberries and dried blueberries between the wood. The parents ate them but the chicks only ate worms.
Great video...iIhave 3 lil robins outside my window sill that will probaly leave the nest any day now. Im like a nervous mother lol. Thanks for sharing.
@djdulin thanks! I hope you get to see the ones outside your window leave the nest. It's a weird feeling, though, once they've gone - gives a whole new meaning to the term "empty nest!"
@TheNatester222 that would be a good thing to google! I wonder if it is what all birds do, to keep their nests clean? I noticed that the parents didn't eat every single one they plucked out ... sometimes they just flew away with it in their beak ... and then probably promptly dropped it, splattering on the ground!
Good video! Robins nested so I could see them out of my window. Woke up this morning and they were gone! Went to get the trash cans and I'm pretty sure I saw the parents following their babies, one even had some food in it's mouth! It was cool checking up on them,I'll miss them!
