  • I am the oldest novi in the world at 47. I went down to Mot a few years ago to learn and did some towing as well. My problem is we own a tourism business so when its summer and great flying i work 7 days. I fly a sonic 165 and have a couple of good buddies Dave Shaw and Geoff Christophers who have heaps of experience. If you come up this way again give me a shout and we will catch up. • Great video and music. Looks like a n unreal place to fly. How was the flare? I liked your Paeroa video as well that's my local site, I live about 15km's from launch. Cheers

  • Thanks! Pelorus was the first "skid site" i have flown from, had an awesome launch. There was no flare, trying to land into wind going cross ways, had to pick my feet up to get over the fence. Lucky you living near the paeroa's, the best site inthe north island !!!!

  • Cheers, I am impresed with your video footage, have you made a special clamp that attaches to your cam corder? How does it work? Also how long have you been flying for?

  • I use a brauniger vario mount attached to a Hero Go Pro wide helmet camera, can be used for a cam corder to just screw on like your instruments. Started flying in 1993 , so about 16 years. How long have you been flying?

  • Great video, liked the music as well. Did you get any of the last day?

  • Yes, mounted the gopro on shane, but not edited yet. It was a lower cloudbase day at Pelorus.
