Oh man, screens aren't actually very good, but display's response is awesome.

change the ugly lcd with a cool tft display... and then all the develop effort will have a nice ui. now this project is useless and ugly.

This reminds me of the OLED screens you sometimes see on some MP3 players, and other similar devices.

pianoguyyy --> big advanture of this method with uC is that You can use it without a PC - and have the same effects as with lcd smartie

Nice. You can also look for LCD Smartie. No microcontrollers at all.
