Probably because nearly all the robots that did well in the sixth wars didn't come back in the seventh, so they had to seed whatever robots were returning.

so? that's what robot wars is all about- fun designs as well as effective ones. thermidor is one of the rare ones that comes under both categories.

When I made that comment it wasn't meant to be a negative one about Thermidor 2. What I meant is that I know that Thermidor 2 is a very good robot, probably one of the few successful bots in Robot Wars to have the silly design. In other words I was trying to say the old adage "don't judge a book by it's cover" in a slightly different way.

I love series 4 I was thinking of that 2. Thermidor was one of the frist flipers who could flip out of arena. Wasnt he the second one to do it in extreme.

Mighty Mouse normally got through very luckily, in Series 6 they passed there heat cos they stayed out of the way of Chaos 2
