@MidoriCrayon its not confusing, im just really bad at explaining things, it happens all the time sorry about that >.< katte is kau in tte form. Kau means to have/raise a pet. if you put a verb like kau in tte form it can connect two sentences so i said "I have a cat AND i like (the color) blue" hopefully you understood this time i really have to work on my explaining skills haha ^_^"

@MidoriCrayon in that situation you can say i once if you like. unlike english you can drop the subject in japanese for the rest if you have already established it or the listener already knows it. In this case i is the subject so you could just say "Konichiwa watashi wa bobby desu. neko ga katte ao ga suki desu" In fact you could probably drop the watashi and make it "konichiwa bobby desu " and they would still understand.
