i watched the 'play all video clips' on disc 3 of Subsistence and noticed it shows u that u can shoot the water pipes above the metal grid area (when volgin is under them) to make water spray on him to short his electrical power and imobilise him for a while, not tried it yet as i will need to play though again.

I used to Roll instead of Shooting Him, when you knock him down , You do the roll atack. I hits him lots of times (It may be a Bug) and takes lot of life of him.

try throwing live green tree frogs at or near Volgin. He will pause for quite some time and attack it, leaving him open for 3-4 shots of the mk22. The lovely idiot . . . :-)

also russian glowcap mushrooms if thrown at the ground will absorb some of his lightning. Weird.... o_o

Try using WP grenade, it has a continuous dmg as it burns. Just use CQC on him by throw or choke/throw then throw a grenade

I always used to grab him with CQC and then just release him.

That works as well, but throwing him to the ground looks much cooler. :D

Use TNT and you will win under 1 minute,use it 4 times and u will win....I win this level using this tactics and I play the hard difficulty...not lying

Man,my way is much easier.....first i use the fake death pill then when volgin turn his back,I revive and use the TNT...that make volgin life drain like quarter then use TNt another 3 times you win...and tigerbiskuatsusu,my way is the fstest way...not lying,try it yourself
