  • enoeda,kanizawa ,kimura rip OUS

  • @hblanda i know that !

  • I wonder who the sensei's are training with kimura?

  • No one notices his hand speed? I'm confident that had he been born in the West and never seen Karate, he still could have had a very successful career in boxing.

  • I would beat this guy's ass, as I am a black belt in the Scottish martial art of FEHK U it mostly involves a lot of head butting and knees to the groin.

  • @RightWingCon81 im sure youl have luck with that since hes dead

  • Many Shukokai clubs I've seen around have that same photo of Sensei Kimura above all other photos... Its quite noble. Much respect.

I was trained under Sensei Joe Templin and graded to Shodan by Sensei Tommy Morris.

  • @reymysteriocookie who is your sensai?

  • thats my sensai's sensai too! i have posters of him in my dojo. my sensai has the footage of the begining clip. the one after the replaying punches but before he speaks for the first time.

  • my teacher trained under him for a very long time. Best sensei ever couldnt wish for a better one

  • Do you have anymore footage??

  • i have trained ksi zimbabwe for many years i have been told sensei won world champs only using gyaku tzuki technique, is this correct?

  • WHAT A SPEED ! O.o

  • The greatest Instructor to have graced the shores of this country!!! I had the privelage to train with him in the late eighties and early nighties, and was awarded shodan from him, what an honour!!!

  • @steve5664 That is an honour! I envy you my friend.

  • I have altso heard about sensei Kimura my teachers altso studied with him but they studied over 20 years and the highest Sensei in our group is Sensei Kjell he lives in Norway Stavanger He has the 6. Dan he lived 1941-1998 best Karate Sensei in the History , thumbs up for those who are with my opinion

  • Sad thing he died from a heart attack

  • Kimura sensei took Shukokai to a whole new level. Its just simply amazing to see how it works from the master himself!

  • Did a 3 day fighting course with him in Sheffield and then a black belt grading of 4hrs, nearly killed me and i was only 14 at the time.

  • @9thaspect9 He also did a course in Leigh at my instructors club, Tommy Kwan 7th Dan.

  • Arigato Shihan Shigeru Kimura

  • Thanks NewEnglandBudo, he's filled out a lot and now speaks English. He was really awesome and super fast.

  • reminds me of goju ryu with alot of shoulder

  • Awesome. I studied this style way back as a kid and the power generation this style develops in your strikes is superb. I like those big foam punching blocks he is punching. Can anyone tell me where I can get them?

  • @BayaniWarrior you have to get them specially made now, since he died no one makes them anymore. My father and Mac Albus did a big order of them, so you need to custom order them

  • Honor to Sensei Kimura.. i've trained and studied his style for about 12 years

  • This must be the son of my old teacher from the 60's. Same exact name but the style has changed slightly.

  • @imamba1 No, same person- Shihan Shigeru Kimura (1941-1995)

  • Excelent Video.

One of the Great World Masters.

  • Brings back great memories of my training at his dojo in Hackensack. The best always die too young.

  • Great to see a genuine master on youtube-lets hope there is more of Kimura Sensei

  • I met the man back in the 70's, fantastic teacher and good to see my old instructor Eddie Daniels feature so much in the video :)

  • i'd love to know how a master like Kimura would shape up to the modern day UFC champions etc. hard call i know but i'd love to see it none the less.

  • I study shukokia in montclair

  • wow. it's nice to see sensei Kimura. I heard about him a lot. My teacher studied about 18 years with Kimura sensei. thank you a lot author
