  • I dont get it....

    Where is the pro?

  • welcome to serieA!

  • SOCKERSFC represent !!!!

  • If I'm not mistaken from 4:24 -4:27, Bradley is practicing at FIU (Florida International University) If that's true, then I wish I had been on campus that day to see him there.

  • jus saying he looks like a bitch with his head shaved. other than that .. i am kinda excited he got picked up for villa. crazy but U.S. is puttin our stamp down in soccer.

  • @mando18 so wot if his head is shaved, doesnt change the way he plays

  • @MrLuke241 yea i kno.. im still excited. he just looks dumb.

  • Bradley will not be a Donovan but he has all the attributes to be Team Captain of the U.S.

  • Like a pitbull.. haha

  • Omg he's gonna be one of the best midfielders!

  • No clue why Villa didn't play him. Villa needed it.

  • @TheSnoop105 Nobody's as good as Donovan, except arguably Dempsey.

Mike's still very good though, one of the "spine" players of the team along with the aforementioned names and a few others along with one of it's best players.

  • I would love to see this guy playing on FC Porto next season.

  • why didnt he play for Villa?

  • @BarcaLioMessi I think he looks pretty awsome bald. Michael and Tim Howard pull it off well. Landon Donovan should take note.

  • wish he had hair

  • where the us players lack in skill they make up for it with passion and determination.

  • haha this pseudo-athlete only plays because his dad is the coach his position is one that requires creativity which he lacks I can't believe how this blatant nepotism be tolerated even more shocking is how the his dad's contract was extended instead of terminated after his mediocre performance in the world cup.

  • ahha! proiud of him! am from dirty jerrseeyy too! i <3 bocanegra hhahaalol

  • with him and Edu coming up in europe now, our center will be just fine...and having donovan and dempsey out wide doesnt hurt either

  • @CFLWjgjc

    Holden>>>>>>>>Bradley

  • The Villa fans will really appreciate his heart. Very hard working player. The Brits will enjoy his effort, not to mention he is a pretty solid mid fielder.

  • Very few effective midfielders are equally good on offense AND defense. Schweinsteiger, Fletcher, a few others, Bradley is one of them and he's still developing. Kids a fighter and a winner. Good signing.

  • Will, in the future become Villa captain and legend, I have no doubt.

  • Michael , welcome to claret & blue family. Great player , great midfielder , big heart and character to fight in every game. I hope a permanent deal in the summer. UTV from Poland

  • Welcome 2 aston villa

  • Can't wait to see Bradley in action for Villa, about time we got a good flow of decent, dedicated players. We don't belong in the championship or the bottom half of the league!

  • As a villa fan watchign this video i think it would be great if we kept a player such as michael, pure enthusiasm and work rate just like our dear petrov. Players like these keep the team successful

  • Great signing for Villa this.

  • no he isnt going to play for galatasary haha, he has signed for aston villa!

  • Quality player. The American Roy Keane.

Welcome to Villa, you will be loved. UTV

  • Great signing for the Villa

    Bring on Omar cummings next

  • Hope Galatasary didn't spend too much on his welcome party. He's off to Villa now :)

  • Welcome to Villa Bradley!

  • Aston Villa!

  • welcome to galatasaray

  • Now a GaLaTaSaRaY Player!

  • 0:21 Cüneyt Çakır :)

  • footie phantom com says he's off to Galatasaray !

  • linked with Sunderland apparently

  • what are u guys talking about? do u even watch the whole games? bradley could easily make it anywhere, he runs the whole pitch and also have balanced skills not only defense but also attacking, people make mistakes u guys talking shit about him obviously being mad cause he's the son of bob doesnt make any sense at all, if it wasnt for him usa wouldnt have gone that far during the world cup, not a personal opinion, most of people who KNOWS about football think the same. so underrated.

  • @Zomxvid So true.

  • Then there's his pass to Davies that started the sequence on the 1st goal and his pass to Feilhaber that started the sequence on the 2nd goal against Spain. Then his goal against Spain. That's 15 good things he's done compared to the four you pointed out. That's not even taking into consideration his passing(2nd best on the team) and his ground covered(most on team, mid-twenties in the whole tournament).

  • @TheNearPost Woops, meant to say his goal against Egypt.

  • No, the WHOLE goals were not his fault, but it seems to be that 95% of the goals other teams score are through him, which tells me he is weak. And caught in possession isn't even a stat, he kicks it out to the other teams goalie/defense if he gets in trouble.

  • @manustudd7 Yes it is; go look it up on the FIFA site. Also, is 95% even an accurate statistic or are you just making that up? That's why your argument is weak - you exaggerate without giving solid fact where it's needed. There was like 1 goal in Qualifying that could have been his fault in Costa Rica. And, once again, is Bradley "kicking it to the other team's goalie/defense" the reason he had the second best passing percentage? I think not.

  • @You may not like stats, but they can be used to counter just about ALL of your weakass arguments that are based on exaggeration and ridiculous bias.

  • @TheNearPost then use your stats to explain why HIS man was so wide open in the England game, which eventually led him to make the easy penetrating pass to cause a goal. SAME THING IN THE POLAND GAME. You CAN'T. That's because you do NOT have any stat to explain why HIS lack of defense in the CENTER OF THE GODDAMN FIELD LEADS TO GOALS- England's, Poland's, Ghana's. But hell, I guess they count passing to the other team part of his passing percentage cause he GAVE that ball to Ghana. He FUCKED

  • @manustudd7 Are you fucking kidding me?!?!?!? THE STATS DO SHOW THAT HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST DEFENDERS IN THE FUCKING WORLD CUP DICKMOUTH!!! TOP 6 IN TACKLES!!!!!! HE WASN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO MADE MISTAKES!!!! What about Onyewu's positioning on England's first goal??? What about DeMerit not stepping in front of Heskey or closing him down when he had the ball??? What about Clark not tracking Gerrard's run??? What about neither Donovan or Bocanegra tracking Birsa's move inside from the left on the

  • @manustudd7 First Slovenian goal? What about Onyewu not stepping up on the second Slovenian goal? What about Clark's lack of composure on the ball he got from Bradley? What about DeMerit back tracking instead of stepping to Boateng? What about Howard getting beat at the near post? AND WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN THE SECOND GHANAIAN GOAL? BRADLEY COULDN'T HAVE STOPPED THE LONG BALL IN TIME!!! THAT WASN'T HIS MAN SO HE WAS NOWHERE NEAR HIM???? WHAT ABOUT POOR DEFENDING FROM BOCANEGRA AND DEMERIT!!??

  • @TheNearPost watch the fucking clip douche, Bradley was no more than ten feet away and made no attempt to pick him up. Yes, Bradley was supposed to pick him up. How about you don't respond til you can prove any of those goals I stated DID NOT start because of BRADLEY NOT PLAYING ANY SORT OF DEFENSE or because BRADLEY FUCKED OVER HIS TEAMMATE. And please, tell me how you know those three I named do not have good defense awareness, they don't play because we have coaches shitty son in there

  • @manustudd Bradley wasn't even the closest player to him you fuckface! If anything, Benny Feilhaber should have closed him down. He was closest. Yes you're right! Bradley may have started the sequence by not picking up Rooney on the England goal, but there were other mistakes just as bad if not WORSE. Why is Bradley's the only one you're pointing out? If Bradley isn't doing any defense, HOW THE FUCK DOES HE HAVE MORE TACKLES THAN ANYONE ELSE ON THE TEAM AND SIXTH IN THE TOURNAMENT COCKSUCKER!?!?

  • @manustudd7 On the first Ghana goal, the pass may have been slightly errant, but DeMerit shouldn't be backtracking that much, and Howard shouldn't get beaten near post - WHY AREN'T YOU ACKNOWLEDGING THOSE MISTAKES!?!?!? YOU ADMITTED YOURSELF THAT THE SECOND POLAND GOAL WASN'T HIS FAULT.

I know Bradley has made mistakes, but he's done many more good things as well. Moreover, there were other players who made mistakes. Your next post needs to acknowledge the other players mistakes.

  • @TheNearPost Your problem is that you exaggerate Bradley's errors, refuse to acknowledge the good things he does and the mistakes that other players make. There were other mistakes made on all the goals you pointed out that were MUCH bigger than his supposed "mistakes". Just talk about those first. PLEASE. Even if Bradley could have stopped the long ball on Ghana's second, WHICH HE COULDNT, Bocanegra and DeMerit made a mess out of handling Gyan, who, to his credit, finished brilliantly.

  • @TheNearPost this is a video on BRADLEY, which, BECAUSE OF HIS MISTAKES/LACK OF DEFENSE, led to 3 goals alone in the World Cup. No bigger stage than the that, and he fucked up 3 times which led to goals. Videos show it. I mean, I haven't seen the guy do a damn thing at all through 2010, besides making mistakes that led to a total of 4 goals, 3 in the World Cup alone. Yeah, he scored A GOAL, but his mistakes were killer. So, until he proves himself if he ever does, he shouldn't be on the team.

  • @manustudd7 how can u possibly say Bradley cost the US all these goals...u sure u were watching the same team....he has everything that makes up a perfect midfielder(long balls, passing, aggression, good tackles, smart tacticaly). the only person on the US who really made a fool of himself was Ricardo Clark

  • watch the replays of every goal I have named, Bradley's shitty defense was the start of every one of them. No, Ricardo Clark looked like a fool because he tried to save Bradley's ass after that shitty pass.

  • @manustudd7 on those goals. What fourth goal are you talking about anyways? The 2nd Poland goal? You said you didn't blame him for that one anymore. The 2nd Ghana goal was not his fault man. He wasn't the closest man to him and he was still trying to get to him. By the time he did, it was too late.

  • @TheNearPost That's what separates him from GOOD players, they make every tackle when need. And no, I saw 0 effort for him to stop any of the goals I named. The video shows it too, yes they are his man. They are no more than 5 yards away, he just didn't make the effort. Until I see him stop make foolish mistakes and play careless defense, I'll never be impressed. He shouldn't have subbed out Clark in the Ghana but instead subbed his shitty son who cost his own team many goals.

  • @manustudd7 I love how you think you can just say it and it's true. Bradley WAS going towards Annan, who was actually Clint Dempsey's man. Annan was the deepest man in Ghana's midfield, as shown in all lineup diagrams that I've looked up, so it wasn't Bradley's job to be marking him. Bradley should have been marking Kwadwo Asamoah if anything, as Steven Appiah(Edu's man) was the highest player up the field after Kevin Boateng, Bradley's original assignment, was injured and subbed off.

  • @manustudd7 Not only that, but why do you think Annan bothered to play the long ball that started Ghana's second goal, anyways, rather than try to control it and pass it to another man? Because he realized Bradley was coming and he wouldn't have had time to bring the ball down. Bradley rushed Annan's thinking in that situation, which is normally good. Moreover, besides the incident on Ghana's first goal, Clark was having a terrible game otherwise. He had been booked and was making poor tackles.

  • @TheNearPost That's a joke. He saw that Bradley was lolli-gagging his lazy ass and he had enough time to play the ball that ended up beating us. And 20th in ground covered? He's a center mid, if he hustled he SHOULD BE AT THE VERY LEAST TOP 10. Do you realize Bradley played with three different CM? Probably because nobody can work with him there. It's basically like playing 10 on 11 or 10 on 12 because Bradley helps he opposition more than he helps the fucking US. And no, if you watch the shitty

  • @manustudd7 Do you seriously think that every good player makes every tackle when they need to? You seriously think that all "good" players are perfect and just do what's needed when needed 100% of the time. If you are, then you don't even know the first thing about sports, let alone soccer/football. Does Bradley make mistakes? SURE. But he does plenty more good things than bad. Case and point: The amount of goals he let in compared to the goals he scored and tackles he made.

  • @TheNearPost kid play, you'll realize he makes many more mistakes than he does good. He helped lead to more goals for OTHER TEAMS last year than he did for the US. I'm not right about the other two goals? The two where he make no defensive effort to stop the attack? Yes, HIS FAULT. I mean hell, the Red Card against Spain? He was late, made the tackle, overall completely dumb. Daddy's Boy needs to be benched. He isn't good enough to be STARTING on the national team. The three I named should all

  • @manustudd7 And what do you mean "many" goals? He was partially to blame on England's goal and I suppose he was partially to blame on Ghana's first, but that's about it. Two goals. Even if you were right about the other two, which you're not, then it would be nothing compared to the goals he's stopped with his tackles and the goals he's scored in qualifying, as well as in the world Cup. That amounts to about 12 good things he's done in comparison to the four you point out.

  • @TheNearPost be before him. He is more of a pain than he is any sort of help. 23 and I have seen barely any improvement. Proves he's daddy's boy. Now, videos show everything I have named, and not just once. Or twice, but constantly. Every game I watch, don't see him play defense the entire game. He'd be better coming off the bench in the 70th or 80th, if anything.

  • @manustudd7 The simple fact here is that even when you compile all of Bradley's so-called "mistakes", they still don't come close to how many good things he's done. Moreover, you say that Bradley has caused more goals for other teams than his own, but Bradley's not really an attacking player, so it's not even his job to score or help score goals. His distribution indirectly helps score goals, he wouldn't be the first defensive player who has been involved in more goals for the other team than

  • @manustudd7 His own. You can dwell on all the 4 or so mistakes compared to all the other good things he's done. But I'm done with this dumbass argument. Let's just agree to disagree, shall we?

  • @TheNearPost Gladly. Very sick of this months long argument.

  • @manustudd7 Here's the deal, does Bradley make mistakes? HELL yeah. Does he make up for them, and then some? HELL yeah. Is he wholly to blame for the goals you pointed out? HELL no. As Bradley gets older, the mistakes are going to appear less and less and less, because, let's not forget, he's still only 23 and is just starting to come to the prime of his career.

  • @manustudd7 If Bradley fucked up four times, then he made up for it five times over by making eight tackles(tied for sixth in the whole tournament) and scoring a goal. If you haven't seen him do anything, you clearly haven't been paying attention, because there were clearly tackles to show that he was involved, and in a good way. Even if Bradley did make mistakes on those goals, those "mistakes" happen to much MUCH better players every day. There are bigger mistakes made by other players

  • @TheNearPost fucking up every game we are in. So please, prove me and all the videos showing Bradley not showing any sort of defense or work wrong. Show me how his shitty pass to Clark didn't start the goal. How his poor defense didn't lead to Ghana's second goal, Poland's goal, as well as England's. Please prove the videos wrong that show it's his fault. Please do. (P.S. YOU CAN'T. IT'S VISUAL PROOF. HE MAY HAVE THE TOP STATS ON THE SHITTY AMERICAN TEAM, HE STILL BLOWS DICK YOU FUCK.)

  • @TheNearPost Clark over. But yes, that is the type of player we ALL want to see on our national team, a player who doesn't know how to mark tight in the center of the field, especially in his final 3rd, and a player who gives suicide balls to his teammates and then jogs back to defense. Honestly, Adu, Holden, or Feilhaber would work much better than Bradley.

  • @manustudd7 Obviously Bradley does know how to mark tight because he had one of the best defensive records in the tournament, like I've said.

Here's your problem you think that since Bradley made a mistake, he spends the whole game doing the exact same thing. Moreover, Bradley is not the only one who made mistakes. Why don't you castrate other players for the mistakes they made? Why is Bradley the only one being blamed when other players clearly made errors?

  • @manustudd7 Those other players who made mistakes could just as easily have stopped the goal as Bradley could have. And what the hell do you mean "normally"? Besides the World Cup, Bradley was involved in one goal being scored, maybe two, both against Costa Rica. Your argument loses any value because you're too exaggerative(if that's a word). You literally said 95% of the goals are Bradley's fault.

  • @manustudd7 I would also like to see you address the mistakes Bradley's other teammates make before you start criticizing him again.? Holden? Feilhaber? Adu? Feilhaber, Holden, Adu have don't have good defensive awareness so, they're not an improvement and Holden had that bad clearance that led to Poland's first equalizer in the recent friendly

The simple fact is that not only is Bradley better at these things than you give him credit for, but there's no one better except for Jones.

  • @TheNearPost hey watch the overtime goal for Ghana. Who doesn't play defense in the middle of the field once more? MICHAEL BRADLEY! Thank god his shitty defense led to 3 goals for the other teams in the World Cup. I will say this one more time, THE GOALS AGAINST THE USA COME THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD. THE GOALS AGAINST THE US NORMALLY START FROM A PENETRATING PASS FROM THE OPPOSING CENTER MIDFIELDERS. Laziness on Bradley's part.

  • @manustudd7 Hey! Geuss what!!! More stats!!!! Michael Bradley's clearance completion rating of 67% was higher than anyone else on the team.

You may not like my stats, I know. I don't really like em either, but most of your arguments can be countered by stats, like I've said.

  • @manustudd7 here's a professional opinion:

    /watch?v=_5tarnVZCA4&feature=related

  • Come to Galatasaray SK

  • @0zzy07 her yalan transfer haberinde girin heriflerin videolarına galatasaray, come love diye tarzanca yazın veledler. Görmemiş herifler.

  • @burack17 bi tek biz yazmiyoruz moruk, yabancilar da yapiyor

  • What's the song played in this video?

  • youtube.com/watch?v=KqVx-uzhM58&feature=related hey, we didn't want him to mark his man on the throw in either. We in fact wanted Bradey to play so far away from him that he could start up the play that lead to the goal.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=OWgi6NO37Y4 look at his shitty, slow pass that fucks over Clark and then him jog ack and help in no way.

  • Everybody who is saying Michael only plays for the niational team because his dad is the coach is wrong. Michael is a great defensive midfielder in the mold of Pablo Mastroeni who is only 23 years old. He WILL get better and will surely be in his prime by the next world cup. Also everybody who is saying he should grow out his hair: he can't. He's bald, just like his dad. I think he pulls off the Kojak look pretty well for a white guy.

  • This inept specimen would have ZERO chance at playing under a new coach and he knows it, the only reason he plays in every minute of every game is because his father is the coach, the federation has gone to shit. To top if off his fathers contract just got renewed for 4 more years!!

  • @Chitownboy1023 Then why the hell is he playing for a club team overseas if no other coach would play him? He's getting consistent minutes for his club team in Europe, something about 75% of American soccer/football players on the national team radar can't say right now.

  • I cannot stand this guy. Again, tonight against Poland, his man gets the ball, gives a great through ball cause his lack of defense. He needs to be benched, or cut. Just not on the field. He doesn't deserve it. Perfect example of why US soccer sucks.

  • @manustudd7 Dude shut the fuck up with this vendetta against Michael Bradley. Bradley kept that guy from turning to his left and that's why he hesitated. Jones should have stepped closer to keep him from turning to the right, but he didn't and it allowed him time and space to slot a man through. You clearly can't stand him because you're probably wanting another player on the field and the only reason you can turn to for him not being on the field is the "Father/Son" argument. Pathetic P.O.S.

  • Stop hating.

  • Great video! Nike soccer is the best!!!

  • TheNearPost, where's his stat on careless defence that lead to goals? Two examples, England game and Ghana. Both he played his usual half-ass defence and walked back as he not only caused the error, but made zero effort to help. He should of been pulled immediately after both of these horrible plays. Overall, Michael Bradley belongs on the bench.

  • @manustudd7 Those were not his mistakes, both were ricardo clark's who had no business being on the field.. What games were you watching??

  • @vinymac05 both ricardo clarks? what game were YOU watching? England- man ran RIGHT in fron of bradley, he made zero effort, they scored. Ghana- bradley gave a shitty pass and clark tried to make something out of it, the ball got stolen and bradley shouldve been right there but he ran off to the side and walked back. that ghana goal was no way clarks fault.

  • @manustudd7 In no way? Are you kidding me? Clark for some strange reason starts moving backwards, probably anticipating, and it makes getting his feet set very difficult. If he's calmer, he can either turn and find Clint Dempsey to his left, Jonathan Bornstein even further left, or if he's confident enough, play one right between Asamoah and Boateng into Donovan. He tries to dribble right around Asamoah and he gets stripped. That's down to Clark's lack of comfort with the ball at his feet.

  • @TheNearPost I can't stand the guy because he has yet to show me why he belongs on the field. As a matter a fact, many of those guys haven't. But for Bradley, yeah he scores, and yeah he works hard every once in a while, but he needs to learn to play defence. Just the other day against Switzerland, whose man played it in behind our defence to the running player? Bradleys. In the past 5 games I've seen him, he's scored 1 goal, contributed to 3 opponents goals...

  • @manustudd7 Poland, i meant Poland not Switzerland

  • @manustudd7 If you don't know why he's on the field, then you're plain blind. Most everyone says he had an excellent World Cup, even the esteemed magazine, Kicker, rating him as one of the top overall players ahead of players like Xavi.

  • @TheNearPost If you think and everyone else think he belongs on the field, you do not know soccer. The kid does one thing: works hard. He just doesn't work hard at the right stuff. He just makes way too many mistakes, especially for being in the middle of the field. They just really need to learn to train and pick new players. (US team)

  • @manustudd7 Michael Bradley does more good things does than he does bad. If you're going to go against every coach, magazine and player that has called Bradley quality, then you're the one who doesn't know soccer. You're just another person who's vagina is sore because Bob Bradley's son is played over some player you want, even though Bradley belongs there more than that player.

  • @TheNearPost- let's see, the U.S. is god awful at soccer so all those coaches opinions and magazines opnions mean nothing. So yes, I will go against them, especially when it's clear that the Bradley duo causes more porblems than they do good. I mean, Michael doesn't know what defense is, and his father doesn't know what good players are. I guarantee someone could go to three states and make a better team than our current U.S. team. Coach son combo- SUCKS.

  • @manustudd7 Well Bob Bradley should be replaced with Maybe Jurgen klinsmann. (I forgot how its spelled). Watch Jose Murinho coach the USA. He actually hinted at it when Real Madrid played LA.

  • @manustudd7 You just lost all credibility with your ridiculous statement. Several states have a better team than us? Just stop talking. Bradley is an excellent player and you're simply mad because there is a player you want out there that isn't because Bradley is better.

  • @TheNearPost Bradley gives hope to all young kids, you do not have to be good at a sport, as long as your dad is a coach you'll be on the team. Bradley is GOD AWFUL. If you think him giving up countless goals cause his lack of defense is good, then you're one of those dumbass Americans who don't know the sport. He has let his man score than ANY player on the U.S. team I have EVER seen. Center mids need to provide stability, and he's by far the least stable center mid. HE BLOWs.

  • @manustudd7 Wow. You're clearly an idiot with no soccer knowledge. I'll just agree to disagree and move on because you're a complete and total dumbass when it comes to soccer. Just continue saying what you're saying and we'll all stand over here and laugh at your stupidity.

  • @TheNearPost youre right, clearly we want the center mid in there who doesn't play defense and lets his man score all the fucking time. I forgot. Ghana (his fault), England (his fault) Poland or whatever (his fault). But it's okay, he's doing so great letting them either start the play cause of him not trying or finishing it off cause his lack of trying. The guy is completely worthless. If you think he is good, you are a part of those dumbass Americans who thinks running alot = amazing.

  • @manustudd7 Like I've said, Ricardo Clark may not have gotten the worst pass, but he clearly should have done better with it. Clark also didn't track Gerrard, and what the fuck are you talking about saying the Polish goals were his fault? He wasn't even remotely involved in ANY OF THEM. There were other mistakes made on ALL of those goals. If you want to think he's worthless fine. I really don't give a damn.

  • @TheNearPost youtube.com/watch?v=LToR3NxP8ec....holy shit, he was behind his man who assisted this last goal. But thank God his defense is so good, otherwise these three goals I posted would've been even easier for the other team. Hell, any teams strategy should just be "Take it at Bradley, his defense is HALF ASS."

  • @manustudd7 Then you would be a terrible coach.

  • @TheNearPost his player assisted the second goal you dumb fuck because he wasn't goal side he was standing there. And Ricardo Clark shouldn't of even gotten that ball from Bradley, it was shit and completely dumb. A suicide pass. Bob Bradley is a terrible coach. Just like his son and majority of the U.S. players are terrible. Just like how the whole U.S. National Level is all politics, which is why the U.S. will never be good.

  • @manustudd7 BRADLEY WASN'T ANYWHERE NEAR HIM! What are you talking about?

Bradley plays one slightly askew pass to Clark that Rico didn't help himself on by hesitating and it all of a sudden accounts for him being second in passes completed/passes completed percentage?

Your an idiot who thinks he/she knows everything about soccer. I honestly hope you just disappear. That's immature of me, but whatever.

  • @TheNearPost you are clearly the idiot, BRADLEY NEEDED TO BE NEAR HIM. Jesus Christ. Hey look on google on how to play soccer, defensively primarily, cause you clearly know nothing about the game. And yeah, when you count shitty passes like that as completed then who gives a flying fuck.

  • @manustudd7 When Jermaine Jones loses the ball, Bradley wasn't thinking to mark the man who assisted the second goal. He's thinking to make himself available for the pass. But the way the play progressed after Jones loses it, it really wasn't clear whether the USA or Poland was going to win that ball, so you can't really blame Bradley for not marking the man who assisted the second one.

  • @manustudd7 Moreoever, it's unfair to make a blanket statement about Bradley's passing throughout that entire World Cup when that was ONE slightly mishit pass.

Just go away man. Bradley is a great player who had a great World Cup.

  • @TheNearPost fine I'll scratch that Poland one, but he still does not know how to defend period. He's offensively minded, which isn't bad, just doesn't belong in the middle unless he learns to play some structured D. Unless he learns to play D, he should be on the bench.

  • @manustudd7 Bradley is fine defensively, period

  • @TheNearPost Jesus, if that's what Americans call fine defending, they'll never win a World Cup. I didn't even know he attempted to play defense, let alone know what it is.

  • @manustudd7 Just keep using hyperbole to insult Bradley and the team and see who takes you seriously.

  • @TheNearPost well I'm glad you don't take me seriously, just proves my point that dumb Americans like yourself don't know how to play soccer. I mean, you have not given a single reason why Bradleys "good," which also proves my point that the guy sucks. So, I am willing to say you're full of shit. You cannot defend your case that he's "good," in fact I do not think anyone can. He sucks at D. His lack of effort is ridiculously horrible.

  • @manustudd7 his lack of effort is ridiculously horrible? He ran the most total distance OF ANY PLAYER IN THE WORLD CUP. Respect USA football.

  • @manustudd7 Yes I have given reasons. His passing percentage being second highest of any American player at the World Cup is one reason. I've also managed to disprove just about every goal you've blamed on Bradley, therefore, you really haven't named any reasons for him to not be playing. There's also the fact that Bradley was only caught in possession ONCE in the entire World Cup and he played every single minute. He also covered more ground of any American player at the World Cup(jakesnake341)

  • @manustudd7 So if you're saying his effort is horrible, you've insulted EVERY player, American or otherwise, that didn't cover as much ground as he did. Some of those guys are DAMN good players, like Steven Gerrard and Maicon. SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Bradley was ALSO fifth in tackles made out of ANY player, American or other wise, who attended the World Cup. Pretty damn good for a player who SUCKS at defense. Bastian Schweinsteiger had as many tackles and had 221 more minutes. Does he suck?

  • @RightWinger16 I'll gladly shut up. But seeing as though it's impossible to prove those wrong, videos show it, I guess I won't be shutting up until someone can show me why he is soooooooo good. Personally, I still wonder if he knows how to play soccer. Still has yet to show me.

  • @manustudd7 You seem to base all your thoughts on how bad you think Bradley is on little moments, but all of the moments that you've pointed out hold Bradley's teammates just as, if not more responsible than him. Not only that, but you've pointed out two goals. TWO. Great argument.

  • @manustudd7 The fact is that as many moments that Bradley may have made mistakes, he made up for in the World Cup. He was involved in two goals against us? Okay, fine. There's a pretty good chance the six tackles he made saved six others. We have no way of knowing that, but you seem to want to focus on all the big moments. Those tackles are big moments. Also, Bradley played 380 minutes and only got caught in possession once - Pretty good for someone who "doesn't know how to play soccer".

  • @manustudd7 The main reason no one is taking you seriously is because you think Freddy Adu is better defensively.......Freddy Adu? The kid who is too lazy to play defense? Yeah right. Even when he does help, he doesn't even do well or cover any holes. You're a complete idiot.

  • @manustudd7 The first Slovenia goal came from Bocanegra not tracking Birsa( right midfielder) inside. The second Ghana goal came from Andre Ayew(left winger) coming inside and not being tracked by Cherundolo. You think Bradley should be tracking wide midfielders? He shouldn't because then that leaves a player wide open in the center for a pass, leading to more goals down the middle like you said. There were other mistakes made on all the goals you're talking about.

  • @manustudd7 I'm gonna say this one last time because all the statistics and the majority of people disagree with just about everything you've said - FUCK OFF.

  • @RightWinger16 so were going with statistics, which by the way mean NOTHING. Andres Iniesta (best center mid in the world-stats weren't great last year) so your stats have zero effect on anything. Secondly, But since you're obsessed with stats lets do this- Michael Bradley (the cause for start of England's goal and the Ghana goal) gave up as many goals alone as the Spanish National Team throughout the entire World Cup. And every goal blamed on Bradley you have yet to prove. Prove me wrong, and

  • @manustudd7 Yes, statistics can mean nothing in the long run, but those things that you said could be directly countered with statistics. No work rate? covered more ground than any other American player. Poor defensively? More tackles than anyone else on the team and sixth in the tournament. I'm not saying stats are everything - I'm saying your arguments are nullified by the statistics.

  • @manustudd7 Moreover, you seem to want to blame the WHOLE goal on Bradley, as if he's the only one who made a mistake. On the England goal, Onyewu was out of position, and DeMerit didn't stop Heskey or step in front of him. Clark didn't track the run of Gerrard. On the Ghana goal, Bradley's pass could have been a bit better, no doubt, but Clark still made a complete mess out of it. DeMerit is back peddling, and Howard shouldn't get beat at the near post like that.

  • @manustudd7 Switzerland? You mean Poland right? And I already explained that instant against Poland. Jones needed to keep that man from turning the same way Bradley did and he didn't. Bradley did his job. Jones didn't. Moreover, Bradley is a great defender. All of the goals against USA that may have been Bradley's fault were other players' fault as well.

  • @TheNearPost no, Bradley was 3 feet off his guy to allow him to turn to make that pass. Yes, it wasn't completely Bradley's fault, be he helped with causing the problem.

  • @manustudd7 No, Bradley did the right thing by keeping him from turning one way, Jermaine Jones didn't apply similar pressure and it let the Pole play the through ball.

  • @manustudd7 England goal - Rico loses his Gerrard, DeMerit doesn't put pressure on Heskey, Gooch gets dragged out too easily. Slovenia goal 1 - Torres doesn't mark Birsa, who he's closer to, and Gooch doesn't step out to stop the shot. Slovenia goal 2 - Gooch isn't level with the offside trap. Ghana goal 1 - Rico loses it, DeMerit back tracks too much, Howard gets beat near post. Ghana goal 2 - Bocanegra doesn't get enough on the ball to stop Gyan and then loses it.

  • @manustudd7 totally clark's fault...

  • @the2ndmills Clark tried to save Bradley's ass, whose lazy ass gave a shit pass to Clark led to them stealing the ball. Not only that, Bradley didn't try to play defense. Bradley's fault.

  • @manustudd7 no fucking way moron, clark made the worst of that situation. it was not a bad pass by bradley. clark made an awful dribbling decision. bradley even made a run for clark right after he passed to him. clark could have passed right back to bradley and bradley could have then played it to the right back.

  • @the2ndmills Bradley passed it halfway between Clark and the Ghana player moron. Clark got to it first as Bradley ran directly behind him with 0 support, Clark tried to dribble out of the situation that shit Bradley put him in, and it didn't work. Bradley fucked him over big time, and then didn't even try to help him out defending.

  • @manustudd7 sure bradley's pass wasn't perfect, but if Clark was a better player who could have got himself out of that situation, either with a better dribble or by passing back to bradley, who, did support him after the pass.

bradley played great during the world cup. everybody knows that. clark fucked up more than once during the WC. bradley is a tenacious defensive midfielder who also bags goals.

clark totally panicked in the situation and lost the ball.

  • @the2ndmills ...Bradley's man was involved in every goal scored for the other team. He played with three different center mids, not because they're all bad, because nobody can play with someone who doesn't play defense. Good, I am glad of the "opinion." Videos don't lie though, and they show how Bradley didn't play defense.

  • @manustudd7 You're an idiot, I don't even know how Bradley got dragged into the Kevin Prince Boateng goal by you. It was first Clark's fault from dribbling into Boateng, then Demerit's for giving him so much room to position his body for the strike, then it was Howard's fault for getting beat near-post. How is it MB's fault? Oh, that's right, it's not.

  • @fmcginnis08 HE STARTED IT BY GIVING CLARK A SHITTY PASS AND THEN DID NOT OPEN UP FOR HIM. YOU AS WELL AS SO MANY OTHERS ARE COMPLETELY STUPID! He has led to more goals for the other teams than he has for the U.S. Shows why U.S. soccer is complete politics, we have a shit player like Bradley, whose dad is the coach, starting in games. Watch both Ghana's goals, his shit pas started the first, and him not marking up led to the second. Talk to me when you have videos that he's good, I have plenty

  • @manustudd7 showing how god awful the fucking guy guy is. Sure, he runs a lot. Doesn't play D though. So why don;t you and everybody else shut the fuck up because Bradley is GOD AWFUL.

  • @manustudd7 GOD fucking DAMMIT!!!! I can't stand back and watch you be a complete and total fucking dickmuncher any longer!!!! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN BRADLEY DOESN'T PLAY DEFENSE WHEN HE MADE THE SIXTH MOST TACKLES IN THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD CUP AHEAD OF PLAYERS WHO PLAYED WAY MORE MINUTES?!?!?!?! YOUR STATISTIC FOR THE AMOUNT OF GOALS BRADLEY WAS INVOLVED IN AGAINST THE USA IN HIS CAREER vs THE AMOUNT OF GOALS HE'S BEEN INVOLVED FOR THE USA ISN'T EVEN CORRECT! IT'S HYPERBOLE!

  • @TheNearPost not given up/let their man be apart of 6 goals in 2010, out of the games I SAW (wasn't even all of them-that's how shitty he is). Yeah, he runs a lot and makes tackles, but if he didn't, I will guarantee his man will score/be apart of 15+ goals. I'd rather see any college player in there instead of him, he is so god damn shitty.

  • @manustudd7 Was the man who played the longball, not Anthony Annan(my mistake). Do you know what Andre Ayew was playing that game? WINGER. He had even switched flanks over to Ghana's right. Michael Bradley was on the right of the USA's central midfield, meaning they were on complete opposite flanks. If anything, Benny Feilhaber should have been the man to get to Ayew, because Feilhaber was on the same side as him, but he didn't. Are you going to try and tell me that Michael Bradley, a central

  • @manustudd7 midfielder, should have been marking a WINGER on the COMPLETE OPPOSITE SIDE? That's RIDICULOUS. Again, of COURSE goals would happen if Bradley didn't make tackles. That's why Bradley MAKES tackles. That's the most obvious thing in the world. Goals happen when you don't make tackles.....DUH. I am not denying that Bradley has made mistakes, and honestly, a lot of the mistakes you pointed out are true, save for a few. But Bradley has done many more good things.

  • @TheNearPost he came into the middle to make the long ball, Bradley should step up and mark him. But he didn't, that's all I have to say. Here's another thing, notice that MOST of the goals scored against the U.S. come straight from the middle, in fact, right where Bradley is, and that the y RARELY come from crosses...how could this be?! Well, if we look at the videos, we will see Bradley is a ball watcher, and that he doesn't like to mark his man.

  • @manustudd7 Listen, even if Bradley make mistakes here and there, but to be honest, he does more good things than bad. Like the amount of tackles he's made. You still haven't acknowledged them properly. All you've said is that if he didn't make those tackles, other teams would score.....DUH. That's why he makes tackles.

  • @TheNearPost Fine, he makes a lot of tackles, but that doesn't make him good. He also gives the ball up a lot (passing not dribbling), he leads to goals against the U.S., his vision SUCKS.

  • @manustudd7 Honestly, I'm done with this. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think Bradley's a great player, you don't. That's common. It's cool. Let's shake hands, forgive eachother for any bad things that were said, move on. Forget that Aston Villa, a good premier league team, bought him, and you think a college kid would be better. Forget it. We're cool. Bye.

  • @manustudd7 Moreover, what about some of the terrible defending, particularly from the center of our defense? I'll say it again - better players have made worse mistakes and they've not led to goals because their backline is good. Ours, outside of Cherundolo was not. Regardless of what you think, Cherundolo was great, and was involved in none of the goals against us.

  • @TheNearPost

In todays news I just read that Bradley is going to play for the Turkish best soccer team Galatasaray! ;-)

  • @Ghazi571 Yeah, should be a good move for Bradley. Better than him staying in Germany for a team that is pretty much relegation-bound.

  • @Ghazi571

Rumors are that he is headed off to Aston Villa.
