  • let. me. think

  • @RaptorRoll SMACK!!!!

  • I am a musician. I tell my music students to watch this scene, and apply Lee's teaching to music. It works. This, and the conversation with the Shaolin master earlier in the scene contain everything one needs to know about music.

  • He was the man, Bruce Lee greatest martial artist ever

  • who was that dude that took his eyes off of mayweather jr?

  • Dont think! FEEEEEL

  • There's wisdom in this. Even tough I'm not hanging by bruce's balls, he knows what he's talking about! :)

  • i don't understand how anyone could dislike this, then again everyone is entitled to there opinion unless your very Nieve and not fan of Bruce.

  • I think that theorically he was ahead of his time in tecniques ,style and way of training ,I just wonder how good of a fighter he was .

  • @Garrikpz

my friend he would hit you before you could ever see it

hows that for a fighter that telegraphing a punch before your eyes can capture the movement....

that could end up the fight in no time....

i think that you have no clue of who you re talking about.

    UNDISPUTED

  • all that heavenly glory

  • thats a bad ass teacher.. most students these days would just freak out and run away...hahaha lMAO

  • Awesome!

  • This scene is so incredible... This is showing how much Bruce Lee is total relevant to our generation as he must have been to his!!!

  • 10 people didn't liked the video JEJEJEJEJEJEEJEE

  • 10 dislikes -- wow.

  • If Sartre could do push ups

  • Do you know what is really scary? I was watching this video with my 6 year old niece. And after watching it, out of nowhere she says "that is the baddest man ever!" I was totally dumbfounded by what she just said. Unbelievable how even a little girl like her can see that in him.

  • @UnitedKorean I watched this movie with a girl, and she had never really seen Bruce Lee in action or any of his movies, and she says to me "He's really cool". Bruce Lee definitely had an air to him. Even when he was stationary, he just had that "I'm a badass mentally and physically" look to him. XD

  • Shit, i would love to have Bruce Lee as my fucking teacher

  • @bioshock607 As would I. Too bad that opportunity is lost to us while we remain.

  • Dont think! FEEEEEEEEEEL haha

  • The counselling toward an expansion of awareness played out here, as elsewhere: simplicity that repays.

  • dont think! FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLL!!!

  • 10 people were smaked in the head for taking their eyes off their opponent

  • I wanna Bruce Lee as my teacher

  • It's in the description...Enter the Dragon.

  • what the name of that movie

  • Bruce Lee is the ultimate martial artist. But, as well as being a supreme fighter, he was also an icon for millions and a intelligent philosopher. His famous line where he describes water is magnificent and can be used in everyone's life. Bruce Lee is an inspiration even almost 40 years since his tragic death. And don't get me started on Chuck Norris.

  • @TheFamilySlitheen

    who is chuck norris?

  • i think there are ten dislikes to the video because of bad resolution - i am not one of them!

  • @Shaolinkungfucat actually UFC is nt only for the tv

  • ha ha i forgot i posted that shit

  • 10 people dont have emotional content

  • @Zenmei224 lots of unemotional sheeple in this world.

  • don't think , feeeeel......and press LIKE

  • Ed Parker said that pound for pound Bruce Lee was the finest martial artist he had ever seen.

  • good teacher,master.

  • don't think.

  • For being such a badass and a very talented martial artist, he doesn't seem like he would be a dick. He seems like he would be a very good teacher. He was intelligent, patient, and it seems like he understands the shortcomings of practice, but does not accept excuses for not achieving success. I wish I had a teacher like him. Be it martial arts, or even in a classroom, I would love to have a teacher like that.

  • The kid was so lucky, he gets slapped by Bruce Lee

  • best advice of my life

  • What an asshole lol

  • 10 ppl got head slapped by Bruce

  • 10 people cant kick right

  • Discipline*

  • Thats what we need in britain, diceplin

  • dont you just love this guy? :) RIP dude!

  • 10 people lack emotional content!

  • lol bruce lee is a bully

  • BRUCE LEE IS THE MAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!!!!

  • lol hes funny

  • Comment removed

  • click the video once it has buffered.. whilst playing press 7 over and over... "slag a finger"

  • Comment removed

  • OK comment on the video what he meant was you need to be emotionally controlled

  • yes bruce called non-contact karate tournaments dryland swimming, chuck was known as world champion in non-contact karate, bruce would rather spar all out with protective gear shin to head, like what the top mma guys do today, except they don't practice eye pokes and groin attacks and other stuff like bruce did who would prepare himself for a challenges with no rules

  • @Dremopl, I agree with you. See people just seems to forget that Bruce study the human body and is capable to use it like a weapon. Ufc are show game sport that has rules. If it attack with nonsense punch ( which it's slow) Bruce it 10 X faster and smarter. Trust me. Mma is nothing!

  • @VenessChang well yeah MMA is a sport, martial arts is exactly what it means. art of warfare. Of course, fighting or pride isnt something one should be learning martial arts for,but hypothetically speak a full fledged martial artist would be able to defeat an MMA fighter. simply because a martial art fighter fights to finish. not prance around or bob and weave. in martial arts you attack the spine, back of the head, groin, eyes, break body parts, etc.

  • poor kid lol

  • keep pressing 1:01

  • From what movie is that part ?

  • @Trinity2133 Enter the Dragon

  • Bruce Lee would kill everyone in UFC

  • You people should know that Bruce is the father of MMA, and all u people who say that a UFC guy can fuck him off are really stupid. Bruce's speed and momentum made his punches more powerful than a UFC punch, dont believe me, watch his 1inch punch on a black belt who weighs over 200 pounds bracing himself. Not to mention his kicks. People who have gotten kicked by him compare it to being hit by a car. So i am pretty sure bruce is the greatest fighter yet.

  • @TheSamson33 no bruce isnt the godfather of mma. mixing is as old as dirty literally. ill give you an example lyoto machida's shotokan karate was the result of gichin funakoshi mixing shorin and shorei into one and then modifying it for the japanese public.

  • @TheSamson33 theres no such thing as a UFC punch lol i know what you mean though.

  • Bruce lee vs MMA, who would win?? Ive seen great kung fu masters get handed to them by MMA. ANy1?

  • @Subaru537 well mma they gonna take him down ground n bound, but shiet how the hell u gonna take him down, he to damn fast

  • @SupaFlyBoyZz699 True, but big muscular MMA guy, like Fador, can come and charge, rush at you quick. I would assume Bruce would kick them off. But still, MMA nowadays is pretty freakin tough.

  • @Subaru537 bruce lee

  • most wisest words ive ever heard

  • @misterkami2 Yes I will give you that. Bruce would proud to see what really works in a real fight. Actually I love Bruce for getting fights to look more believable than the 50 or early 60. But people who fight for real. Know that's where it stop for Bruce. Or a Jet Li. Anyone think I'm lying, call Jet Li out to UFC

  • @shockadellick Bruce Lee was practicing street fighting, not fighting bound to any rules. He didn't do competition sport, he actually fought for real. So Bruce Lee would still kick some serious ass today.

  • And if on bruce dick. Fuck dude he was to small to fight. He'd put be place with teen age boys at most. You guy over here need to get real. This isn't 1970

  • @Dragonking700... Dude it's like this. I have broken down too many karate Black Belts until it's funny. They come into our gym with that action pack movie bull shit, and walk out fucked up! Hurt bad. At our gym we kick black belts ass to send a message that it doesn't work. This is where I'm coming from

  • @shockadellick

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH you fucking moronic microbe.

You don't know what fighting means. It isn't sport you dumb fuck.

Don't ever even mention Master Lee again you filth. Your are not fit lick the floors that REAL Martial artists walk on. Your gay ass UFC wrestling is for the TV only.

Faggots who don't know shit always got a big mouth. You are no exception.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

Fuck the UFC. It is for queers who like to watch gay men wrestle.

  • prick...

  • arrogant...

  • It's funny now watching these film as an adult. I used to think this fighting was real. UFC showed us all it was fake. Now we know what really works. If Bruce could see MMA today he'd shit in his pants!

  • @shockadellick

Are you kidding me? How does UFC show anything other than a bunch of ignorant idiots can brawl around half naked in a padded ring with gloves and rules and call it 'the real deal'.

If bruce lee were alive today he'd laugh at UFC.

Martial arts are about LIFE. REAL LIFE, not some dumb sport.

  • @shockadellick If Bruce Lee would see MMA today he'd first be proud of the changes he set in motion.. he'd then proceed to improve it..

  • GO BRUCE!!!!

  • Bruce Lee Is The Master...

  • LOOOOL . Bruce Lee is the man .

  • Its a bad day for his student LOLOL

  • ''emotional content, not anger'' Bruce said this back in 1973 and look how right he was.....Georges St.Pierre, Fedor Emelianenko and Manny Pacquiao 3 of the most dangerous fighters on the planet and also 3 of the most humble and focused individuals, it really is all about emotional content.

  • I still think the Kentucky Fried Movie short "Fistful of Yen" is better.

  • this actually happenedn in real life. SOme kid who was a stuntman wanted to learn from the master during production. Bruce agreed, which gave him the idea to put this in the movie :)

  • 9 people are focusing on the finger

  • @rapsputin

10 people are still thinking and have not felt it yet.

  • @rapsputin now 10...

  • I love you Bruce.

If Bruce was teaching me how to fight, I'd probably stay no matter how many times he hit my head or confusing he was.

  • Lol... the sound FX are so gay....

  • Dungarth I'm afraid your wrong, mma has nothing to do with Bruce lee or him with the creation of it, mma fighters fight like animals & Bruce would be disappointed at how martial arts has changed and also disrespected by you saying this. Bruce lee was ahead of his time and he perfected martial arts by sticking with there traditional forms and combining them to make jkd.

  • didn't the boondocks get that quote from this?

  • i wouldnt care if bruce lee slapped me. i would be in fucking heaven if he were my teacher

  • @socersalv10 So are you saying you would be in heaven before or after the slap? Cause he's one powerful man

  • @Quyen22 LOL good point. a slap with power developed with wing chun can really hurt.... I know...

  • 01:11 & 01:20 & 01:33 LMAO!

  • Bruce Lee was the first true martial artist to abandon ''styles'' of fighting, He was way way before his time he trained Wing-Chun, Hapkido, Judo and European Boxing with the goal of one day getting rid of any particular style of fighting and just using any style to win a fight his dream/vision is being realised today through MMA.

  • feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel....

    *slaps*

  • feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel

  • mates and I have had this inside joke since year 8. that's 8 years now, still hilarious!

  • All martial arts have one similar rule... "Neva Take yo Ass Off Yo Opponent"

  • that kid must have got a fucking concussion!

  • feeeeeeeeeeeeel

    *______________*

  • Yesssssss

  • i like the part where they fight

  • @PiinoyAzztig what movie?

  • "It is lika finga pointing away to da moon."

    *points*

  • I love the part when he slaps the Boy

  • the way he says "i said with emotional content, not anger..now TRY AGAIN!" i love the way it sounds.

  • his accent is very sexy :)

    0:36- gorgeous

  • thats what i should tell my girlfriend next time when we in the bed "Don't think...feeeeel" thanks bruce

  • @15551cue “Don't concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory”. :)

  • emotional content? WTF?

  • @PlzReturnArbynchief yes what he means is you should focus, or channel your emotion into every move you make, instead of letting your emotions turn you into some wild, flailing whirlwind. This accomplishes several things at once. It keeps your emotions in check, you expend less energy, and you stay focused on your ultimate goal. As Bruce said at the end that segment, "It's like a finger pointing to the moon. Don't focus on the finger, or you'll miss all that heavenly glory."

  • His comment kinda reminds me of how Victor Wooten approaches playing bass: as one doesn't focus on the mouth when speaking words, the musician shouldn't focus on the instrument while making music.

  • How do you feel?

    "Let me think..."

    *PIAK*

    Don't think, FEEEEEEEEEEEEL.

It's like a finger pointing towards the moon.

    *PIAK*

  • Holy shit... now I know where that quote in The Boondocks comes from

  • His accent is hahaha

  • if a bad came and bruce lee said kick me bruce lee would find out he is a bad guy and kick his butt

  • @bos0223 forgot guy at the begining

  • Dont concentrate on the finger or you ill miss all the heavanly glory. LMAO CLASSIC!!!

  • Bruce lee was so amazing and so wise, thats what makes him awesome

  • Bruce Lee owns!

  • 9 people are chuck noris fans

  • "think, huh..."

    *slaps to get attention*

    "dont think, feel!"

    haha

  • This reminds that NO matter how many years a person lives. But how much name he earned in his life time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,MADDY RULES

  • "Don't think, feeeel"

  • Bruce Lee would've made an incredible teacher, his approach (not style) at martial artists and the world was very unique.

  • im speculating what im about to say is true or not, but from a feature i saw on this movie, of course this was Bruce's idea, this scene actually did happen. During production, Bruce lee did teach a stuntman who was young as him (im not sure if thats him) his jeet kune do, which then he planned to put this in the movie.

  • whow... Bruce's wife ass must have been very red......

  • Bruce lee would make an awesome teacher. as long as you don't think.

    feeeeeeeeeeeeeeellll

  • Wow...Inspirational.

  • lol, Bruce was a total dick to this poor kid but yet he was such a bad-ass it's okay.

  • Who has 9 bullets?

  • emotional content means to kick with yourself , a kick within your mind ,feel your opponent .

  • LOL funny scene...

  • legend

  • bruce lee is master yoda "feel dont think use your instincs"hhehehe

  • What Bruce is saying is to kick with energy and instincts if you feel energetic you are energetic what he is saying is to be full of energy and emotion is the way to fuel that energy. That is for speed so you wont tire easy.

  • ah fei-long stole this line "Don't Think. Feel!"

  • @animatorguy2 Fei-Long is a tribute to Bruce Lee

  • @WendellColeTV yeah i no bruce is faster!

  • "don think! feeeeeeeeel"

  • master at work

  • aahaahahahahahahahaha!!!!

  • I can hear the birds sing

  • the greatest

  • I don't understand what he means by emotional content, cuz he says not anger, its really confusing

  • @farizzal

could he have meant feel with your strike?

  • @NewZealfighter that doesn't even make any sense though lol

  • @farizzal

Yeah it does. The young man pulls his it

Bruce says ,Not a fucking exhibition

then the young boy shoots out in anger and tension

Bruce is not impressed with anger and most likely finds it to be a wasted emotion

When Bruce speaks of Emotion,I am guessing he means Feel the universe and be all one and be a part of all your enivorment, hear the bigs sing.Emotional itelligence

Remember bruce values the softness and power of water.Water is filled with life but it seems emty

  • @farizzal continued

    But back on point

in one interview with Bruce. He speaks of a Gung Fu punch being a chain with a ball contected to it and hurts from the inside.

He was talking about internal power. The internal orgins will feel the shock wave of the punch

An anger boy punch is only conserned with simple blunt force power,a Gung Fu punch is an internal shock wave

Because when the punch is more about touching thou then simply striking out like an angery or fearful little boy

  • @NewZealfighter sorry for th typos on my first reply

I meant the (young man pulls his kick)

then I meant (hear the birds sing)

But back on point.Bruce thought that point sparring and this pulling of punches and kicks was a waste of time

you don't need anger or muscle power in a strike, instead be like a wave that flows thou the body not just smack it or bruise it.

Also bruce wants you to get past thinking in the form of words but to just FEEL all of the heavenly glory in his words

  • @farizzal he means don't think too much when you're fighting, feel it out. It's like doing anything else, especially sports. Don't think too much and go with the flow.

  • @SEModena or like playing guitar. Learn all the theoretical progressions and voicings...then "let go." Make it second nature and just fell your way through. Like jazz improve.

  • lol; bruce lee was fuckin amazing
