thats not an itr motor thats a jdm sir-g "jdm gsr" you can tell by the top radiator hose gsr's and jdm sir have it torads the back. and the b16 and itr's have it torads the front.

no, the japanese GSR has the red valve cover and is stamped b18c, you need to look at the markings on the head its stamped above the exhaust manifold on the right side of the head.

i have a 97 ek with a usdm 94 gsr swap it doesnt have a vin on bottom cuz its obd1 i put a obd2 head obd2 air intake manifold an gsr ecu hooked the crank posotioning sensor would it pass reff, the bottom block i can say its jdm i wonder if they would go for that i need youtubers advise pls i havent took it in yet.

Just for you guys out there, that might just be a GSR motor, the valve cover isnt even JDM

Jdm valve covers bold the VTEC not the DOHC, and for hell i know i dont know anyone who would put a USDM VC(Valve Cover) on a real jdm motor. thats sorta stupid to me.

different prices but u do need engine

mounts e.c.u tranny u might wanna get

new axles epends on what car u have

u need to do a shit load of stuff but it

shouldnt be expensive over all and get

it finely tuned

I know about manifolds. You ever heard of someone switching out manifolds. It can be a GSR motor with an after market manifold, we do it all the time in NY.

thats not a jdm gsr.. you can see by looking at the valve cover unless you swapped valve covers or swapped head with a usdm gsr head

jdm gsr come with a black valve cover only the ITR swaps come with a red valve cover!!!

I never said you had an ITR motor. Im talking about the print on the valve cover. The jdm valve cover has DOHC in small letters and VTEC in big letters unlike the usdm version which is what you have. And the jdm valve cover doesnt say Honda motor Co. on the bottom it just has a Honda emblem. Trust me I have a jdm gsr motor in an ek hatchback thats why I checked out your video

also you can tell whether your motor is jdm or usdm by looking at the block stamping. if it says b18c then its jdm if it says b18c1 then its usdm.
