I have made these books for other people, and have purchased the Smash and given that away too. This has inspired me to start a journal on January 1st for myself. What a CUTE video! She is adorable and I LOVE how your journal turned out. I saw the original video at the beginning of summer and thought it was such a cute idea. Wow! This book is really fun. I loved how you figured out ways to incorporate bulkier items into the small scraps in the book. Its such a great way to keep memories and so great for the kids too. Your little one is so mature for her age and she has quite a lot to say too. Thanks so much for recording this video that way. oh, my gosh! yes! i was once one of those scrappers who would always tell my kids, "hands off! no touching!" but i've come to realized that "touching/feeling" is a part of the whole experience. it makes it more fun! so, now my motto is....."there's nothing a little glue can't fix" ;)

What priceless treasures you have: a beautiful daughter, a great book full of memorabilia and loads of journalling and a video that puts it all together and keeps it fresh and alive. It is obvious that your little girl has enjoyed going through this book with you more than once, and that too made your video special. She knew where and what everything was and really showed us all how much she enjoyed it! That reaction from our child is what we mothers really scrap for! You really are blessed!
