  • you're good! and compliments for the bass!!

  • @pietroalive35 this is an old video. I gave that bass to a friends 15 year old son to learn on. He destroyed it in 2 weeks :)

  • U DA BADDEST LEFTY I'VE EVER HOID !!!!!!!!

  • look like an eaasy song , souunda awesome i, since imma beginner thinking this song wud be a good one to learn cuz its simple and sounds great

  • it is simple, but sometimes simple is good :)

  • This guy here is one awesome dude.

  • dude that i one of the nicest basses ive seen! i would buy one if i could

  • Do you have the tabs?

  • sorry dude, I "can't" use tabs cause I normally play like Jim Haslep/Jeff Schmidt --strings inverted, and tabs are useless. I learn everything by ear or on sheet music if I can't hear the bassline.

  • omg man thats like the best quallity bass cover ive EVER! heard!! keep it up man ur amazing

  • jammin!!!!

  • GREAT sound!

  • that was great!

  • LMAO, upside down OR the "correct lefty way," it still sounds better than the way Dave played it.

  • it's the rust on the strings that give it MOJO....

  • You make it look too easy. Great job.

  • Yep, everyone does this. Well, except me... But this song and Sweet Child O' Mine! It's a great song!

  • ya CI this song is old, worn out, and too easy to pass up playing a different way, and another one that noone seems to do on the bass here on youtube.

  • LOVE the sg! Great lookin vintage bass.

  • thanks HAP, there's one more tune posted for this LYLE to take center stage with the strings flipped to normal.

I thought it would be a huge deal to try to make my brain think in "REVERSE"....it wasn't.

it was fun, and new, and kept me occupied for a minute or 2, and strengthened my ultimate saying even more...

"notes are notes, patterns are patterns no matter how the strings are positioned"

go watch my last LYLE video, it has a lot more movement in the fingers than this easy jam...

  • love the bass, hate kiss. :) sorry man

  • wha? calling dr love is the jam i mean i dont like em all but this one is a good one

  • That lyle has the "Gene" punch to it!

  • haha well the bass is about that age - 1981. and the strings do have a little "vintage" rust on them for mojo.

this bass does have demarzio humbuker 6 string guitar pickups in it, that none of the strings are aligned with the pole pieces -

that probably has something to do with the vintage sound..(you know kinda like a Fender).....hehe
