You play as Subject Delta, the FIRST SUCCESSFUL Big Daddy to be bonded with a little sister. You can use both plasmids and weapons, but your free will gets you in trouble, as Sofia Lamb does not like that.

if anyoen hadnt answered your question yet. the game takes 10 years after Jack has been their. u play as the 1st prototype big daddy that was abandoned becasue u could think for yourslef and chose wether or not help the little sisters unlike the other big daddies were were forced to help them. so u awaken in bioshock 2 as the prototype big daddy. so im guessing when they found out u could make your own decisions they abandoned the project and threw u out but u arent ded.and thats were bioshock 2

Bioshock was such an awesome game! i cant wait to see whats in this one. my friends didnt want to try it because there was no multiplayer. the game was so good that it didnt need any online material. it was one of those games that made single player games awesome. you can play it again and again and each time it would be different from the last. and i love the 'scary' scenes in bioshock. the dentist was the best.

This is to Upperfuzzball Big Daddy's are not peaceful at heat Big Daddies are human beings who have had their skin and organs grafted into an enormous diving suit. The candidates also go through voice box modulation and pheromone application. This pheromone is what attracts the Little Sisters to the Big Daddies. They are then injected with a plasmid that effectively turns them into mindless drones with only one purpose: to protect and watch over the Little Sisters.

Spartan, are you serious? Did you even play bioshock 1? The Big Daddys are actually very peaceful at heart because they're depressed, and they use the Little sisters to give them something to do. In other words, they're not aggresors. A Big Daddy will NEVER attack you unless you hurt it or it's Little Sister, that goes for Bioshock 2. Big Daddys work generally alone, aside from the Little Sister,although there will be certain characters that help you and you can always use the hypnotize plasmid.
