Most of us could only stand and gawk. She's pretty danged nice inside, too. Makes our C47 look pretty darned homely, but fortunately, a Gooney bird doesn't necessarily *have* to look as nice as Esther Mae.
Why did he say that the only other known D models would likely never fly again? What`s thier status?
