Good demonstration of what can be acheived with the Gladstone Technique but the dynamics and sensitivity are missing. Watch Morello with Brubeck or Bonham at Madison Square Gardens 1973. It all dates back to the big three Belson, Rich and Kruper. It's an instrument - play musically.... thanks for the upload.

@gleventhal did u not hear the beat he played it was not grooving at all. very shaky time not very good with the grooves. but his speed is well developed. and i praised him for that. so ur reaction to my comment is worthless. i was watching the video to see the gladstone tecnique being used as i was studying this technique in great detail and wanted to see it being used by joe smith. speed who cares about speed. not a big deal to me i have great speed of my own hands and right foot. peace!!

pretty good but Buddy claimed to never use the fingers, I might be wrong but it looks like your using your fingers. Either way nice job, those fast fills might sound better with a faster beat but sometimes fast fills with slow beats are cool. Rock on
