  • "Give thanks and praise to the Lord!" Amen Bob!

  • Still love this song 'One Love'.

  • Carribean music has pretty much always been popular hasn't it. Calypso in the 50's, Ska in the 60's, Reggae in the 70's, 2 tone in the 80's, Ska punk in the 90's, Reggaeton in the 2000's etc.

  • woooooooooooooooooollll :O

  • i wish we could all join together and feel alright.

  • hey, come on people, ska, reggae, whatever. All I know is that this music is of love, so lets not spread hatred, ok?

    One Love everyone

  • @Jeffersonianwisdom ONE LOVE ONE HEART

  • hey, hey, hey. Why all the hate for each other? This is reggae man! Not politics.

    One Love.

  • @Jeffersonianwisdom

hey man how high were you when you write these comment?whatever I agree with you;D I respect you!

keep calm and listen reggae music!

  • very mature of you to continue this inane conversation. I already tried to make peace, but you persist in this mediocrity. Please drop it, cuz its ruining this great song.

  • I know exactly what kind of music this is.

Yes, its Ska. But its Roots to i

  • @dude75able If you knew this was ska then why did you ignorantly write " This here is Rock steady Reggae" when reggae didn't even exist when this was recorded? How many times are you going to make an ass out of yourself on here?

  • @laylalaylady what you were talking about wasn't ska either, no please go away skank.

  • @dude75able There's no way you're seriously this stupid, are you? I already explained that I was simply replying to someone else who brought up MFATGG but you specifically said that this song is reggae when anyone who actually knows what they're talking about is aware that this is ska. With each reply, you further make yourself look more foolish.

  • @laylalaylady I said it was ROCK STEADY, you twit. This song came out in the Rock Steady era, and later on Bob Marley recorded a Reggae version of it. You are the one who is foolish.

    GOOD BYE

  • RUDE BOY MUSIC IS SKA, N ROCK STEADY

WITH A LITTLE BLUE BEAT 4 GOOD MEASURE

  • no way dude prince buster is the original ska, the wailing wailers are the shit but prince buster was there in the very beginnings man

  • let's JOINT together n feel all right

  • too fast

  • @hoiikbenmooiboy it's not too fast for a ska song, it's perfect ;)

  • Big boy steamer running!!!

  • there's a train coming.

  • tHiS iS iT!

  • Wow! Never heard this version before. What a gem with that original ska sound! Thanks for posting.

  • 1964.............

  • O por dios

    que buen rocksteady ¡¡¡

hermanos esto si es buena musica saludos desde Mexico, Puebla

  • such a good verison

i perfer this bob marley than when he got more famous

  • this isnt ska ..its Rocksteady..

  • @hooooooters no it´s actually ska it´s just oldschool ska :D

    rocksteady is a little slower

  • @hooooooters... It's Ska, the forerunner of Rock Steady and Reggae, you really should study the music before making silly statements like that.

  • unity and comunity =peace love and happyness.......what you waiting for ...doh.....

  • one love one heart lets join together and feel alright

  • one love one heart lets join together and feel alright

  • damn peter was tall. ***** bob, bunny, peter and everyone involved

  • this is true ska. me first and the gimme gimmes and the mighty mighty bosstones dont have much to do with ska except the offbeat and a bit of brass.

  • @maki9247 Those guys "caucaisian-ed" the hell out of it....personally..

  • @maki9247

True. But in my oppinion, ska is a bit what you make it out to be.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones have a few good songs. But THIS is the original sound. Got to love it or there's something basically wrong with you, haha!

    One love!

  • @maki9247 Have you ever listened to Me First and The Gimme Gimmes? They have no brass nor do they use the ska offbeat so what exactly are you talking about? MFATGG are a punk cover band and NO ONE claims that they have ANYTHING to do with ska in the least. It's pretty clear to anyone who has heard MFATGG that you are speaking about a band you are clearly completely ignorant of.

  • @laylalaylady Hey hey hey, whuchu talkin bout clown? This here is Rock steady Reggae.

    Nah punk music here

  • @dude75able You're not the sharpest tool in the shed, eh? I was replying to someone who brought up MFATGG and if you didn't have shit for brains, you would've read the comment I was replying to instead of making a fool out of yourself.

  • @laylalaylady BURN YOU

  • @dude75able You've already exposed yourself as a mentally challenged tool so please stop embarassing yourself.

  • @dude75able Also this is ska not rocksteady or reggae. You seriously have no idea what you're talking about at all.

  • @laylalaylady shut it

  • Remember, this IS original SKA :)

  • @jhipolito If it means anything to the sceptics: the backing band is called Skatalites. Also a great SKA band.

  • I would say this is the best version.

  • brilliant song but i wouldnt say this is the best version its not a ska song.

the song just doesnt feel like it should be a ska song. any true rudys will know what i mean still brilliant song

  • boondocks128 what do you consider ska? Just wondering.

  • dumb question

SKA is what i consider Ska

wailers did to much religous songs bear in mind how many of there tracks featured god in some way. compared to the likes of laurel aitken or skatalites. dont get me wrong wailing wailers are one of my favourite bands. laurel aitken being no1 witn 2nd being bob marley but a ska song apart from beat needs to be about unity and i considered any song about a "god" preaching therefore not about unity

  • so someone can't ask you a simple question without an insult........oh forgive me almighty know it all......you seem to take the term Rude Boy literally!

  • lol you freaking hilarious maybe you should look a lil bit closer to home

  • haha any true rudy knows this is ska..... cause thats what it is....

  • yes we all know that but i think if ska song is about unity why should it preach about Jah that singles out non beleivers like me

  • ska can be about anything..... it doesnt have to involve unity......

  • cool man but i just arent a big fan of preaching in songs i think it spoils great songs

  • @boondocks128 Its kind of like the blues..its your environment...I personally know kids from the projects that can't relate to Lisa Loeb.

  • @rudeboypop Nothing wrong with unity.

  • Still the best version!

  • classic =]

  • mmmmm the ska version

  • esto es lo mejor del mundo!! no va a aver nadie como el.... me marco conpletamente este chavon.... este fue el primer tema que escuche... tan solo 13 años...un saludo bro..

  • @jose3955

    El tigre del fuego.

  • one love lo mejor de bob marley

  • lang nicht mehr gehört, ein Klassiker!

  • Undoubtedly the best version - he was so much better before island got hold of im

  • cool:)

  • Great as the later more well-known version is, this one is the best...and how can you not recognize Bob's voice, Junkyjoe...they were already full-grown teens by the time this was cut...Bob's voice only aged and mellowed...but it's unmistakable

  • and who's bob marley there?

  • are you serious?? lol the one in the middle on the picture and the one singing the chorus and main verses of the song.

  • lol the one in the middle

  • I cant even understand what your saying!!!

  • Being full grown, and your voice changing are very different..

  • I know that but what I'm saying is the fact that he aged alone wouldn't change his voice that much.

  • lets just say his voice matured due to his smoking hahahah

  • Your voice does change when you get older!

  • Yeah but it was only like 7 years and he was already full grown so his voice wouldn't change that much because of age.

  • im pretty damn sure the weed had something to do with the change too though lol

  • esta es la version original

  • this was when Bob and the boys were in their early twenties and were backed by The Skatalites and recorded at Studio One. i don't even think he met Rita yet.... you see what your voice sounds like after puffin' tough for over fifteen years!:D Ska Rules!

  • wait, one second, so bob marley adapted some of these songs later on?

  • I can't beleive how much Bob's voive changed in the 70's.

  • that isnt bobs voice....

  • Yes it is.

  • wow.. then its like.. totally different :|

  • I know that's what I said :D.

  • yeah sorry bout that, i didnt believe you before:|

  • it probably changed from all that week he smoked..
