  • looks like the cessna decided take a bath

  • Bet the insurance company hated seeing this plane being lapped on by the ocean - aircraft + salt water = Total loss.

  • listen guy people who act like there pilot's and go apply for a job before you know they crash the plane

  • Looks like an oldie

  • Made in china.

  • @youngeagle14 no amercia

  • Critical injuries but ther not too bad....

    What a reporter!

  • Were Here!

  • i remeber when this happened

  • piston engines are unreliable by nature due to its complexity ... turbofan engines generally fail only during birdstrikes.

anyway, the best thing to do is to sue FAA until they make mandatory airbags, BRS parachutes, etc. otherwise, pilots will keep dying.

wondering how the families of the deceased still hasn't sued FAA!

  • Ballistic Recovery Systems won't do anything. Better training will. As far as pistons being unreliable, I flew a Cessna 310 for 2 years in central Australia and never had any issues, the 0-470 like the 0-360 are engines that have been around for ages because simply they are reliable IF you don't cut corners on 50 and 100 hourly checks and rebuilds. A PT-6 on the other hand, is a turbine engine and does not have nearly as clean record as the old continentals and lycomings.

  • @lavakava You're stupid. You don't "sue the FAA" for anything. Go away, you know nothing about aviation.

  • @denhou1974

ofcourse i know everything about aviation, dumbass. people like you are young 14 year old fat boys crying about something you know nothing about. no run away before your mommy yells at you to go to bed.

  • @lavakava Your comments aren't indicative of someone who knows 'everything about aviation' or anything about aviation. I can assure you that I have more PIC time than you do. Stick to commenting on videos about anime and police brutatlity. Something on where your opinion might matter. And I stress 'might'.

  • @denhou1974

i hate to burst your bubble but pic time in FSX doesnt really matter :)

  • @lavakava FSX is irrelevant to me. Let me know when you'd like to compare logbooks.

  • @denhou1974 ahh good one!

  • @denhou1974 ill compare log books with you.

  • @lavakava haha.. you trolling around.. would you like to explain how and what you would sue the FAA for ?? maybe it was pilot error... even if it was not... why would it be the FAA's fault ? oh and your crap about Piston engines is getting old !! turbo-fan engines can fail through alot of different things... a Bird strike would be one.. but not the only one !! I mean come on... wake up Lavakava you don't know anything about avaition...

  • and this is big deal? happens everyday in AK

  • Yeah same with the hudson river landing. Airplanes ditch every day but an airbus does it once in new york and suddenly it's the first time it has ever been done and the pilot is now the best in the world. People have ditched in the river near my home airport probably seven or eight times, never made the news as far as I know.

  • Planes don't ditch everyday, the fact that you've seen seven or eight near your home is amazing, but theres a large river near my house, and no plane has ever ditched there. The hudson airbus ditching was on the news, because that was a huge passenger jet, the amount of unsuccessful ditching atttempts with airliners of this size in the past is large, but the pilot of the airbus landed it perfectly, which is incredibly hard.

  • @Ntin63

He was a former glider pilot, you can learn alot about flying without an engine once you've mastered gliding.
