One of the most brilliant guitarists ever. Underrated. Overlooked. Missed.
I love his sense of syncopation and mastery. His sound, which was ground-breaking, was precise and technically superior than most guitarists that get way too much credit. Just Listen to "Saved By Zer" a technical and sonic masterpiece, " Sunshine in The Shade" rhythmic brilliance or "Deeper and Deeper." a testament to his sense of timing and artistic genius.Jamie you are a talent beyond words!
@DuaLeaD I have a modern strat plus with lace sensors and i have one with the emgs. The sound is great but i prefere the lace sensors so i'm selling th emg dg-20 one. The Strat Plus is the best out there for me... I used to have a Roland Jupiter 8 !!, i also had an oberheim ob8 and others but sold them all, couldnt afford them. I now have a Roland Jd990 module, love the roland filters :)
@smartti1970 I use a digital (yeah not as cool) Roland 300-SX concert piano with a fully analog Dave Smith Prophet '08 as my synthesizer. Still getting my feet wet. I would kill for the synths that you sold bro LOL. I don't get what people mean by the can't afford a synth they own. They are expensive to maintain the old circuitry or they just fell on hard times and had to sell them off??
@DuaLeaD yeah to expensive to maintain the old circuitry, sooner or later you know its gonna break, they first start to bug etc... the Prophet 08 must be a mother of a synth and my Roland jd990 is digital but what a sound, its the sound module of the Jd800...
Another one of my faves from my fave set. The dropouts I hardly notice. A very underrated band with a great looking lead singer!!! THE FIXX FOREVER TOO!!!!
Great video! I had never heard this song, but I've been a fan of the Fixx since I first heard "Red skies" back in the early 80s.
Just a couple of months ago, they tore down the building where the Rainbow had been. I never saw the Fixx there, but I did see everyone from Howard Jones to the Chieftans to the Mighty Diamonds there. It was a great venue- thanks for giving me a glimpse inside of it once again! Got anything more from the Rainbow?
Can I just say that this is the best video I have ever seen....the camera angles, one of my all time favorite songs, Cy's personality, good audio and video! The FIXX FOREVER!

The Fixx are like a fine Swiss watch....the sum of their parts all work so well together.
I'd like to see more video from this show.

@n8tureboy I've been into The Fixx since about '83 (I was probably wearing a Swatch at the time too).
