I have wavy/curly hair, but its very unruly. I have one video on my channel with shots of my hair if you want to see it. Its thick because I have so much of it, but the strands themselves are thin. Its especially frizzy/poofy after it dries from a shower. I'm looking for a way to make the waves/curls look more neat, and less "bedraggled" so to speak. And poof or frizz less, of course. Any suggestions?

Hi Karin, I did chemical straightening to my hair 3 years ago and I have lost more than half of my hair after that. My scalp on my crown area hurts as if somebody is pulling my hair. I have tried all kinds of shampoo, conditioner, hair oil but nothing seems to work. I have dark black dry, frizzy, and wavy hair now. I lose handful of hair pretty much everyday. Any suggestions would help.

hey, i have a question. i use nexxus and it says it will make my hair shinier and i take a shower at night and when i wake up in the morning, it's shinier, but the shine wears off in the middle of the day. and my friends mom is a cosmetologist and i asked her what i should do to keep it shiny and she said to put water wax in it. (im pretty sure you know what water wax is)and i started putting water wax in it, but it didnt do nuttin. and i always put water wax in it! what should i do?!? HELP!!!!!

Wow I didn't know hair changed. This is very nice of you, thank you. I was wondering... I have a bit past shoulder length hair. It's wavy, dark brown, and dry. I straighten it (with a ceramic iron) quite often. I don't use any protection before straightening because I don't know which one to really use, or I'm just a bit lazy sometimes.. When I was my hair and let it dry naturally, the top part is perfectly straight but then the midsection gets all frizzy and puffy.

Use a heavy ,protein rich or conditioner for extremely dry hair,,,put it in after shamppooing, rinse, and then put a small bit like the size of a dime, emulsify, see shampoo video...

and put it in and LEAVE IT IN this acts as a great "protectant from the heat of blowers pr flat irons and eliminates FRIZZ!

what ever you do DO not use head and shoulders or any "dandruff shampoo" this makes it worse, it is a rebound effect, if you stop using it, it will get worse!

is it bad to part your hair on one side all the time?  does it make that part area start to thin? i find it hard to switch over to the other side.

It "feels" wierd to change your part, if you have worn it on one side for a long time and change it, it just feels strange, no thinning from parting, is not an issue!

I have very coarse, dry, tight curly hair, and endured a lifetime of misery with it. I straighten it after every wash, but straightening irons make itpoker straight and that does not suit me. How can I still have a wave? Ideally id like a happy medium, not tight n curly but long curls. If it cannot be done with irons are there any products?

you could try a really good, heavy conditioner, I like joico K-Pac...use it as a conditioner after washing, do not rinse it out to much, again after towel drying use about the size of a quarter, distribute the product through your hair evenly, (see shamppoo hair video) for ditrubuting thru hair... comb thru, see if letting it dry naturally like this helps, then flat iron it slightly, or try a huge barrel curling iron!
