Now that I know what this is called, I will know what to stay away from. No offense to anyone that enjoys civet coffee, but I would rather stay away from anything's excrement.

They actually eat the cocoa beans and then poop them out in the wild, so they were like truffles. Had to be found and then washed and cleaned, so that's why they were so expensive back in the days, but now I'm sure there's factories so it's not hard to come by.

@lisayamani I wonder if they have hundreds of civets caged up, and feed them coffee beans all day. Can humans leave coffee beans intact after eating? I want to make homemade.

HA! it tastes like butt! I've heard of that coffee somewhere... maybe I could make snake coffee with the same idea... I have to wonder... what is a civet eating coffee grounds for in the first place? I can just see an assembly line of cats being force-fed coffee grounds so they could shat it out and provide coffee for people. What a strange world - right? lol...
