WOW! I live in Canada and it seems our Children's protective services wait and wait before acting upon abuse cases. They stand back and wait til the abuse is sooo severe that it will have a lasting effect in the childrens' mind set.
Not to mention they only take them temporarily and often return them to the abusers. Sometimes back and forth several times.
Needless to say, i don't understand how MCFD in USA have the right to remove children immediately without proper proof of abuse of any sort.
Here they are called Cps and just when they were going to have to give my kids back one year after they took them they interrogated my kids until they had some false charges to bring on me. Now not only am I facing prison time for something I would never do but I may never see my kids again! They lie and do anything they can to keep getting their money it is so wrong. About the kids my butt its about money for them they dont care at all.
All those that have dealt with MCFD know them for the evil scum that they are. It's a BUSINESS. They get paid big bonuses to adopt out kids that have been seized. They are staffed with mostly clip-haired lesbian feminists and male homosexuals. Scumbags that shouldn't even be around kids.
Who is the man filming this video? Is this person related to these children? Is this person the reason why the children are in the system in the first place? Ask yourself these questions before you make a sound judgement call.
MCFD is the Ministry of Child and Family Services. They take children away when they are 'in need of protection' but they do not always collect the actual facts and they sometimes take children with no reason or proof of wrongdoing at all.
Sad, when my children were taken (thankfully returned home) when I recorded them on video camera when my son was being abused i was told i couldn't record otherwise visitation would be stopped fully.
@carversanonymous having a lawyer doesn't do any good. For one thing, legal aid lawyers are available according to the income a family makes and they can only provide about ten hours of service in total. That's what they get paid for by the gov't. not a big help in a child protection case.

unbelievable, kids cannot talk about what it is like lving in care. Yet, foster parents are constantly drilling kids on their home of origin stuff. As for upsetting the children.If the children are so important to CAS why are they not designated a therapist when they go into care. We all know this is a traumatic thing for kids. None of the children have ever, in two years of being questioned by social workers and officers, have they ever disclosed any abuse of any kind. There were NO physical signs of abuse and they do not display any behavioral signs. So where do you get off posting this crap? Why can't you leave this family alone? CitizensPower the ministry here is NOT CAS (Childrens Aids Society) it is called The Ministry of Children and Family Development. This isn't Ontario.... this is British Columbia.. and we do not have private contracted agencies here like they do in Ontario. And this also isn't the US of A.. In order to become a fosterparent in BC you have to take a course on parenting and continue to upgrade your skills. There is also a annual review done on your home every year.
You have to take a course? Do they teach you not to put infants to bed flat on their back? An infant died in foster care last year lying flat on their back. I've seen many foster homes (videos on youtube as well) that were far more disgusting than the average home. Taking a course doesn't mean anything. How long is it? six weeks?
What do you mean MCFD doesn't have any private contracted agencies? The agencies that provide supervision for parent's visits with their children and the parenting courses, are they not contracted agencies?
What really concerns me is the fact that you considering how much you know about these three girls, maybe you are their foster parent and that makes it so inappropriate for you to comment on this website. So highly unprofessional and it doesn't help anything. MCFD is supposed to bring families together and support them in times of turmoil, not tear families apart and destroys bonds between parents and their children. I am in BC and I know of many foster parents who have not had any training whatsoever. It would be good if they could bring training to remote communities instead of having the parents travel to the city - because its often the case that the training comes after the children are already placed with the foster parent/s - if the training happens at all. The annual visits often fall to the sidelines when the CP social workers have to prioritize.

yes there are parents that have abused their children, these are far and few between compared to the abusive socialworkers who make up tall stories and spread them around the community in order to go in and take good children for their friends to foster. There are many types of abuse besides physical. There is emotional abuse, ritual abuse, psychological abuse, sexual abuse and remember there are always two sides to every story and you are only getting one perspective here...
I definitely don't think children being taken away from their parents is funny. I do think that in a lot of cases it would be much nicer if parents stood up and took responsibility for their actions... There has to be documentation. The family and the foster parents need to work together for the children. That is what this is all about but everyone seems to get off that track and on a "poor me I didn't do anything" one. I just wish that once I would hear/see a parent say "I worked my case plan and got my act together for my child/children."
Most parents would do anything to get their kids back. Most parents do work with social services and try to see their faults but when social services lies and falsifies documents it gets very difficult. Social services will give a parent many things to work on and tell them that they can have their kids back once they do it but come time to get your kids back, social services changes their mind. Why do people find it so hard to believe that a government agency would lie?
And I do hear what you're saying, horsepee, but think about it: child protection agencies work on positivism: the more children that go through their program, the more funding. They aren't funded by outcomes of children. They don't care about the family.

I have known this family for the last 3 years, and read all the social worker reports and about how the MCFD has ruined their family, one girl in particular I have known and talked to when she was 13. I wish that she would just fight to get out of that place, back to her parents or at the very least to her grandparents in Australia, at least here, this injustice wouldn't happen, especially in a government agency. It sickens me to think another human can do this to such innocence girls.

And yes they can come in and take your children based on a phone call. it's been a year for us and will be a year and a half before we even get to court to find out there so called case against us. We have talked to alot of people who have had their children taken as well. The CAS or MCFD do not always have a right nor prove that there is a reason. They get paid for each child they take, till that child comes of age, even if the child runs away.
Figure it out people are making alot of money off this, and foster parents give me a brake you make a fortune off kids. look at the rates being paid out.

In the USA, foster "parents" murder their foster children FIVE times more often than do biological parents. You have something to gain by criticizing CAS critics - if the word gets out, no one will want to put kids in foster, then you won't be getting any more money, will you?

It is questionable that many children who need help aren't getting it, and way to many children who do not need MCFD interference are stuck in a hopless system. Children are kept in the dark in why they are in care. MCFD lies and twists truths about parents to keep kids in care. Whay are children not allowed to speak about being in foster care?
They are not allowed to speak if a matter is going to court. The ministry keeps the kids AWAY from the media so it doesn't become sensationalized. And it also depends on who are the actual guardians of the children.
Again, you are talking about the child welfare system in Ontario which is different from the system in BC. Yes, they have many similarities; however, there are many differences. Additionally, do you have any evidence of them "stealing innocent children"? So in some sense you are right I am not fully educated of the CAS system, but this video has NOTHING to do with that system. This is a BC issue - child welfare acts are provincial legislature.

Dealing with the same thing. C.A.S saying children don't want to come home, police report taken day after they stole children states otherwise. They kept children from talking to us for 8 months. They have told our children we have abandoned them. C.A.S is a private organization, the mandate is funding through open cases whether substantiated. C.A.S steals children and get funds for them. The snowball effect takes over, C.A.S says look our child numbers have increased and we need more funding.
I'm sure you were in need of care when you were younger and God bless you got it...But believe me some social workers lie, misinterpret, misquote, fabricate, leave out positive parenting skills and are on power trips that they are not accountable for...

As a former foster child in BC I can tell you that children do not get apprehended for no reason. There is some lack of care for those children. You could have asked me at 10 years old whether I wanted to live with my parents and I would have said yes, despite the abuse because I was scared. I think what's outrageous is that their parents are filming and posting this on the internet. If their parents really want them back this is not the angle to take; it just makes them look irresponsible.

I suppose you think its horrbile that children leaving their care have been exposing the truth, the over medication. Do you know 83 children died in care last year.
I am sure that some children didn't have a good experience while in foster care but also remember that out of the 83 children, a lot of those in care were already compromised in their health and were put in care because parents weren't capable of looking after them.

There are court cases, literally, where CPS has tried to take children away because the parents had a "cluttered" home, or a judge just barely let the parents have the children (the parents got some money and could thus move in to larger quarters). There is NO accountability with CPS - everything is done in secret, and they have, or act like they have, total power. You sound more like a CPS worker.
The last time the social worker came to my home I had over a dozen people there who support me...The worker left and aint been back since and it's been 3 weeks.
I guess she felt intimidated. But it is so important for people to see how they conduct themselves. I may pay the price for that but at least I have created more awareness by involving others...I'm just so tierd of their BS.
Record everything, video is preferable. Make sure your lawyer is present at any meeting (mortgage your home, sell your car, do whatever it takes, but get a good lawyer to be there). Don't let them in your home without a warrant. Learn the law, your family and your children depend on it.
you aren't giving the whole story here. There is some reason that you kids were taken away... Not that I don't get that you are upset or something, but you are trying to gain support but I don't see how anyone should support you when half the story is missing.
Not allowed to tell the whole story till we go to court. The point is to draw attention to the fact that alot of children are being taken from their homes by socal workers when it's not needed. How the family unit within, a certain economic sphere, is being destroyed in Canada. Millions of families all across Canada are suffering, not being treated fairly or justly.
WOW! I live in Canada and it seems our Children's protective services wait and wait before acting upon abuse cases. They stand back and wait til the abuse is sooo severe that it will have a lasting effect in the childrens' mind set.
Not to mention they only take them temporarily and often return them to the abusers. Sometimes back and forth several times.
Needless to say, i don't understand how MCFD in USA have the right to remove children immediately without proper proof of abuse of any sort.

@carversanonymous having a lawyer doesn't do any good. For one thing, legal aid lawyers are available according to the income a family makes and they can only provide about ten hours of service in total. That's what they get paid for by the gov't. not a big help in a child protection case.

CitizensPower the ministry here is NOT CAS (Childrens Aids Society) it is called The Ministry of Children and Family Development. This isn't Ontario.... this is British Columbia.. and we do not have private contracted agencies here like they do in Ontario. And this also isn't the US of A.. In order to become a fosterparent in BC you have to take a course on parenting and continue to upgrade your skills. There is also a annual review done on your home every year.

I am in BC and I know of many foster parents who have not had any training whatsoever. It would be good if they could bring training to remote communities instead of having the parents travel to the city - because its often the case that the training comes after the children are already placed with the foster parent/s - if the training happens at all. The annual visits often fall to the sidelines when the CP social workers have to prioritize.

There has to be documentation. The family and the foster parents need to work together for the children. That is what this is all about but everyone seems to get off that track and on a "poor me I didn't do anything" one. Most parents do work with social services and try to see their faults but when social services lies and falsifies documents it gets very difficult. Social services will give a parent many things to work on and tell them that they can have their kids back once they do it but come time to get your kids back, social services changes their mind. I have known this family for the last 3 years, and read all the social worker reports and about how the MCFD has ruined their family, one girl in particular I have known and talked to when she was 13. Everyone involved wants the best for the children, and sometimes a home life just isn't a suitable situation for raising children. Every child wants to be with their parents even if they arent good parents! And what about how the children were acting? The one girl was more concerned with the way she was eating her carrot than her fathers questions and the smallest one seemed to just want to be on camera. The ministry does steal children, lie, brainwash and indoctronate their biased, bigoted views to keep children. The best for those children is not being terrorized or brainswashed into thinking they need protection. Why aren't the children's voices being heard? why are they kept seperated? No one has a right to tear loving families apart, no social worker cared to get to know this family only lie about them. No excuses.

that the government child protection agency had failed to protect children who died while in care...
The public became aware of the Coroner's office failure to conduct child death reviews on 713 child deaths files. This occurred after the government consistently denied any child death review concerns and then incrementally revised the number of missing child death files from 80 to the final 713 total...

And yes they can come in and take your children based on a phone call. it's been a year for us and will be a year and a half before we even get to court to find out there so called case against us. We have talked to alot of people who have had their children taken as well. The CAS or MCFD do not always have a right nor prove that there is a reason. They get paid for each child they take, till that child comes of age, even if the child runs away.

In the USA, foster "parents" murder their foster children FIVE times more often than do biological parents. You have something to gain by criticizing CAS critics - if the word gets out, no one will want to put kids in foster, then you won't be getting any more money, will you?

That would be 'highly inappropriate' as MCFD would say. Very unprofessional. It's almost like you're gloating in the parent's faces. Does that make you feel good?

How many children are on the street, raped, abused or died because they were thrown into foster care? It is questionable that many children who need help aren't getting it, and way to many children who do not need MCFD interference are stuck in a hopless system. Children are kept in the dark in why they are in care. MCFD lies and twists truths about parents to keep kids in care. Whay are children not allowed to speak about being in foster care?

They are not allowed to speak if a matter is going to court. The ministry keeps the kids AWAY from the media so it doesn't become sensationalized. And it also depends on who are the actual guardians of the children.

Again, you are talking about the child welfare system in Ontario which is different from the system in BC. Yes, they have many similarities; however, there are many differences. Additionally, do you have any evidence of them "stealing innocent children"? So in some sense you are right I am not fully educated of the CAS system, but this video has NOTHING to do with that system. This is a BC issue - child welfare acts are provincial legislature.

What kind of parent uses their own children and exploits them like you have? I feel sorry for yous who don't have anything better to do than post a video of his children on YOU TUBE for the world to see! If ministry came into your house and apprehended your children, there had to be a good reason for it. Ministry is in the business of doing what is in the best interests of the children. Was it in their best interests to post their photos on cam for all the world to see? I don't think so.

If the children did not want this they are already in care and could speak up and say how they really feel. The foster parent is only a wee bit away and I am sure would be more than happy to come to thier rescue. They are old enough and mature enough to have brains and say what they want to say to know they have thier guards handy.

Additionally, your polarized thinking needs to be addressed. "They," suggests that every single one of them is evil or think that their jobs are rewarding. I will admit there are a lot of bad social worker and I have had a few, but they are not all like that. So, like mentioned before they are not the Gestapo - what brought them to your house in the first place? What was the complaint?

I am involved because I can relate to the experience of YIC. What's great is that is the only thing you got from my comments. Dealing with the same thing. C.A.S saying children don't want to come home, police report taken day after they stole children states otherwise. They kept children from talking to us for 8 months. They have told our children we have abandoned them. C.A.S is a private organization, the mandate is funding through open cases whether substantiated. C.A.S steals children and get funds for them. The snowball effect takes over, C.A.S says look our child numbers have increased and we need more funding.

As a former foster child in BC I can tell you that children do not get apprehended for no reason. There is some lack of care for those children. You could have asked me at 10 years old whether I wanted to live with my parents and I would have said yes, despite the abuse because I was scared. I think what's outrageous is that their parents are filming and posting this on the internet. If their parents really want them back this is not the angle to take; it just makes them look irresponsible.

I am sure that some children didn't have a good experience while in foster care but also remember that out of the 83 children, a lot of those in care were already compromised in their health and were put in care because parents weren't capable of looking after them.

All you have to do to find out the truth about CPS or CAS is read the court cases. There are court cases, literally, where CPS has tried to take children away because the parents had a "cluttered" home, or a judge just barely let the parents have the children (the parents got some money and could thus move in to larger quarters). There is NO accountability with CPS - everything is done in secret, and they have, or act like they have, total power. You sound more like a CPS worker.

The last time the social worker came to my home I had over a dozen people there who support me...The worker left and aint been back since and it's been 3 weeks.
I guess she felt intimidated. But it is so important for people to see how they conduct themselves. I may pay the price for that but at least I have created more awareness by involving others...I'm just so tierd of their BS.

Record everything, video is preferable. Make sure your lawyer is present at any meeting (mortgage your home, sell your car, do whatever it takes, but get a good lawyer to be there). Don't let them in your home without a warrant. Learn the law, your family and your children depend on it.

Not allowed to tell the whole story till we go to court. The point is to draw attention to the fact that alot of children are being taken from their homes by socal workers when it's not needed. See abusive-ministry ca and canadacourtwatch com for a basic education in what is happening with canada's family courts. How the family unit within, a certain economic sphere, is being destroyed in Canada. Millions of families all across Canada are suffering, not being treated fairly or justly.
