God i feel old. Played it as a kid in sydney australia 1984 loved that game back then it was the shit! Had no idea at the time it ripped off star trek 2 though lol
yep, i remember this one too...i preferred this one back then to another semi popular game which was more like a simulation than anything (M.A.C.H.3). wasn't the only offering in the pot as far as laser games go, but you had a lot more real time control with this one than you did with interactive movies (that's what i call em) such as Dragon's Lair, DL2 Timewarp, and Space Ace...there are others besides that in the laser ones..those are just what comes to mind readily.
i remember this you had to sit inside this cockpit and shoot the filmed models shot on lazer disc. most of the time the shots never connected...the game was frustrating and expensive...i look at it now and laugh at how dated it is.
@cuttock I grew up playing this game when it first came out, and I totally agree. This game sucked. " should of been called "filmed explosion watcher" is right.

This game looks like it sucks balls. I guess in 1983 that stupid "3D" virtual shit with explosions was cool, but good god did this game age poorly.

@cuttock 1983 was 28 years ago, you incredible cosmic dumbass.

No need to be rude, dude!

@cuttock Sorry, you were being a bit disrespectful and antagonizing towards the video game. It's classic, cultural and historically important.

@cuttock
I think a human being making a legitimate judgement on a game is more deserving of respect than a game.
