  • So cool that you were able to have the experience to see them live, so now I have someone that understands the way it feels to actually see them perform live.;) I spent alot of time with them out of permorming time. I took them to the beach, played cricket, bus ride, gave them presents, made them my brothers on raksha bhandan and over all just simply showered them with love am warmth. This will stay with me for ever till I see them again. ;)

    Thanks.

  • Il n'ya pas de mots pour exprimer ce que je ressens.

  • Huh????LOL. Sorry I knew french I forgot now. Can you say it in english, spanish or hindi.

    Thanks

  • There is no word to experess what I feel.

  • Thank you very very much...;)

  • exactly said

  • I too am a bharatanatyam performer & teacher but this is awesome. One of my students is slightly handicapped and I too never thought that I would be able to get her doing any Adavus but it is an art in itself to teach this divine art to those students who we think are limited in their learning abilities. Bharatanatyam is amazing and it brings out the best qualities in all..whetehr blind or handicapped. Good stuff!

  • It's awesome what you are doing. Trust me in time to come she will be your best student ;). They might be disabled in one way but very capable in other ways.

    Thank you.

  • Yea I wish my stamping was as loud as theirs!

I am so happy I came across this video. To see that dancing has touched their lives, and they are touching others with their amazing talent despite their "disability" is really inspiring.

May God bless them always. This is another reminder that we can do anything.

  • Pushpanjali,

Thank you so much for your sweet message. They are my inspiration in Bharata Natyam. They are in my mind every time I practice my Bharata Natyam dance pieces. And yes we can do anything.

  • male bharatanatyam dancers are always and forever be stomping (slapping the ground) loud! which is so great! i can't really tell whether they are really blind or not...but if they really are blind, then that is just awesome! body memory equals movements with eyes shut. "The audiences' ears hear the music & their eyes see you being that music. Dance is the music made visible. You are the music!" (Morocco, New York City, New York (1998))

  • That's right...They marked my life and I had to share this with the world.

  • wow if they are blind, this is God's gift. they are amazing

  • They are, you just can't really notice in this video. Only looking at them on stage you can really tell.

  • wat their blind??

  • Yes they are. That's what make them even more amazing ;)

  • Yes they are...

  • Awesome performance. I can't believe they are blind and look better than most classical dancers!

  • Thanks for your comment. They are the most amazing Bharata Natyam dancers I have seen, specially due to the fact that they are blind and they have such amazing coordination. Seeing them on stage was an unforgettable experience.
