as far as i know the game, objects like stars, black holes and such despawn when you're too far away from it... otherwise, the game would lag horribly if it had to simulate the whole universe (notice by going past the 'boundries' will keep generating different space bodies then there were previously)
@shortymiget52 tnx for watching and the reply .. i agree but have a nitpick : (( since i know you're implying "when you dont have the ui on you might be able to dodge other black holes by staying out of areas that dont have other stuff in them since it may indicate a nearby hole ;) " ... )) but .. i;ve seen it happen in the game where a planet or sun got into orbit around a black hole :D (usually when a big system gets swallowed by the black hole , things sling away..some start to orbit )
@coz752 yes actually it is impossible for things to orbit around a black hole. it is against the laws of physics, because the orbiting object would have to be traveling at a speed above the speed of light. soo show me some proof of your claim and id be happy to admit a mistake. ;)
I finally grasped your initial comment .. :D.. I prepared a video response that Its fairly easy to get things in a orbit around the black hole .. But then I clicked on the movie to find your post and saw the fact that at the start of this movie something similar happened :D
Ah well .. .still going to upload the vid i guess ..
yea i know, i meant that things like planets cant orbit a black hole... like it does in this vid. it was a stupid comment though ;/ i took it down lolol
@shortymiget52 Things can orbit a black hole, they just have to be spinning around it fast enough to provide enough force to not get sucked the fuck in.
no it doesnt,you can orbit around a black,unless you get closer in that case you to increase your speed,and only very close to the event horizon you need to be at the speed of light,after the gravity turns to infinit and your done going to the center of a black hole.
@MRthatisjustwrong Between recording part 1 and part 2 I played around for a while.. got a nice system going and made an update video and I grew that star system a lot while going from part 2 to part 3 and .. to part 4 ;)
@Shuttheheckop735 haha you owned that child didnt you.

continued : things sling away..some start to orbit ... 95% of those will have an obviously decaying orbit .. but not all ;)

@shortymiget52 stars at the centre of our galaxy revolve around a supermassive one i believe.

@Idotjam
yea i knew that but for some reason i forgot that it only pulls at the speed of light at the event horizon.. derp me! lolol
