That run in '09 was INCREDIBLE! The Flyers won game 3, coulda won game 4 but Fleury was magnificent, shut out the Pens in game 5, and had a 3-0 lead in game 6. So really the Pens didn't appear to be the "better team." But damn, what a comeback! What a game! What a series! What a run to the Cup!

what a great game this was. I remember every single penguins game and goal of the 09 playoffs, an amazing experience for a fan to see his/her time rise to the stanley cup. probably my biggest and best sports memory of all time.

I don't think the announcers cared for the Pens very much.  They orgasm when Philly scored, and when the Pens scored they were calm.

Hell in 2008 when the Wings beat the Pens for the Cup, Doc Emerick was really excited, but when the Pens got revenge in '09, he was significantly less excited.

I'm a Flyers fan but I don't think the Flyers deserved to win this series anyways. The series was even but Pitt was the more focused team and got more clutch goals and Fleury bailed them out over and over again. His save on Carter in game 2 was the save of the series and if he doesn't stop it, the Flyers tie the series 1-1 and the complexion of the series changes..but the Pens go up 2-0 and in my opinion, won the series right there.
