Veggietales is so false sometimes, and even though its a kids show its so important to let our kids know the truth, as in the bible, so that they dont believeit snowed when gods people left israel, or that a flood came and took all the babies..Smh

@momorenee14 Let me tell you this. Veggietales is meant to educate young kids of fun and mainly silly stories from the bible. They interpret them in their own method. Most parents watch them with their kids to teach them about how God ties into all these stories. The stories here are meant to teach young kids about what's right and wrong in a creative matter, not about brainwashing kids. Yes, there are false things. However, they relate the story itself.

river of blood=totamto juice

frogs= Prarie Dogs

Mosquitos=Grasshoppers

Cattle fell dead (same)

boils=pimples

hail=twister

death of first-born=flood that cause infants to float away

@Legoland1085 The insects of the plagues were lice/gnats, flies, and locusts. I believe the grasshoppers represented all the insect plagues, though technically the locust is most similar to the grasshopper. The rest are spot on.

I think the Veggie style was a cute way to show the plagues. My 8 year old niece definitely preferred this over the movie The Prince of Egypt.

I also think it's cute that the sign on the doors are lifesavers. XD My niece was disturbed when she heard that in the bible, the Hebrews each killed a lamb and painted their doorways with its blood.

@Legoland1085 Actually, the grasshoppers represented the locusts. Mosquitoes could have been used in place of gnats, but they didn't have time.

Dude, that part with bob is sooo funny, but sheesh they know how to get serious with the last plague! All we needed to see was one tear fall down the mayor's face and it would have officially killed me! So sad!

If they ever wanted to do a serious story, they should take the story about Job who lost everything. Bob should be Job.... I dont know why.
