god protects us!!! im glad your ok man. i have a 92 camaro 5.7 350 in mine. i would die if this happened to my car lol,,, did you ever get another camaro???
@CatchFlipsidE hmm unless you took out the stock LT1 motor and put in a LS1 in it then your wrong.... 93- 97 cast iron Lt1 block 98- 02 LS1 Aluminum block ...... judging by the front its a 93- 97 LT1 thanks for learning .... i know its an everyday thing
your a lucky one. i had glass fly into my face and luckily only went in my cheek. i had 5 peices of glass removed and had to get 7 stitches. lucky you are
@gamecheater11 I am extremely blessed. No doubt in my mind. Even with the cut on my head and my left elbow (which probably helped in shattering the driver's side window), there was no glass found in either wound. I believe I ended up with four or five stitches in my head and two in my elbow.
But, VERY blessed not to have any glass actually make it into any of my wounds. Also, no broken/cracked bones at all. No neck injury at all. VERY blessed!
yes, very blessed, accidents suck, i was hit by a guy going about 60 in my truck and i was pretty much stationary, i rolled after getting some air and was stuck in my truck upside down sometime after. but that was a year and a half ago and i still have glass stuck in my finger because they didnt get it out =/ glad your ok!
Yeah, it's extremely smart water... that's the only way it survived ;)
Luckily, I wasn't bleeding too badly anywhere other than my nose. Nose bleed was caused by the airbag. LOTS of blood from nose bleed. And, even though I ended up with five stitches in my head and two or three in my elbow, I don't think either of those places really bled that much (thankfully). Nosebleed freaked me out more than anything and stopped within a couple of minutes.
Thanks! That's from As I Lay Dying's disc called "An Ocean Between Us." The song is called, "Nothing Left," and there are other good songs on that disc, too!
Thanks :) I really wouldn't call the whole experience scary per se. The lead up to and actual impact happened so fast, my mind didn't have time to get scared.
The only time I remember being truly terrified is seeing just everything covered in blood (pretty much ended up being just from a nosebleed caused by the airbag that stopped in just a couple of minutes). After that, it was just reaction and and "UGH!" kind of feeling when I found out I was gonna have to...
...crawl out of my car by myself before EMS was on-scene because my car was literally on fire. I never lost consciousness, and I was able to literally walk away from the accident. But, w/in a few minutes, my brain finally caught up to everything that was going on, and I got a bit queasy. EMS was on-site by then and told me to lay down which made me feel fine instantly. After a ride to the hospital in a neck brace and on a body board, I was able to get my bearings. Things settled after that.
Sorry it's taken so long to answer this... a collision between that car in the pictures and a big pickup truck. Wasn't head on or T-Bone, more like a 45 degree collision. My front left collided with her front right. Her pickup truck rolled up on top of my car (hence the dent in my hood that looks like it'd be about the right size for a tire.
One day soon, I think I'm gonna make a video with a couple of hotwheels cars or something to give people a better idea. We'll see about that vid though
Yeah it does, but I'm still alive, in one piece. Plenty of scrapes, scratches, big bruises, and some stitches, but not a single broken bone at all. I honestly thank God for that one.

@tietie1424 Unfortunately, yes... a 1995 Teal Camaro Z28. I miss her.
CatchFlipsidE 1 year ago
@tietie1424 Had the 5.7L V8 LS1 engine in it, too... 275HP stock and the previous owner had added a K&N Filter Charger to free up a few more ponies.

@CatchFlipsidE
Was it the original motor? 93-97 had the 5.7 LT1, and 98-02 had the LS1 motor, just filling you in.. glad your ok.. looks like that was a hard hit.
