Dem Lobbying Firm Hits the Jackpot in the Obama-Pelosi Healthcare Casino
Special Deals for Firms Clients Now the Law of the LandThe clients of Democrat lobbying firm The Raben Group made out so well in the Democrats government takeover of healthcare bill law that the firm decided it needed to brag about it. The Raben Group took a victory lap in an email sent to their clients including a long list of special deals they scored for their clients.
think the big insurance people care for you? Guardian thinks those who require frequent care and payments are called "dogs". their words. in New York , Guardian just cut off all payments to everyone of their customers with MS. real nice upstanding christianlike folk those people at Guardian...
It would be CHEAPER, cover EVERYONE and save at least 50 thousand LIVES a year.
You teabaggers are being conned big time by people who are filthy rich abd don't give a SHIT about your lives or your children's lives.
The insurance industry only cares about maximizing PROFITS...and that means taking your money and keeping as much of it as they can without being jailed...and providing as little payment for health care as they can...without being jailed.
When did Americans become so greedy and self-interested. We used to WANT to help our fellow Americans. We used to think of Government provided services like schools, social security and medicare as the PRIDE of our nation and a reminder of our Christian values.
@stillif we stopped caring about these government run programs as soon as we realized we can't afford them anymore just like we can't afford our overseas military empire. I don't know how old you are but I am 27 and I am not relying on Social Security b/c there is no way it is going to be there for me when I retire 45 years down the road. I would be better off opting out of social security and investing that money in a private retirement fund.

the 5 democrats that opposed the public option will be voted out of office i predict that that will be their future, but they don't know that, but they will. These people that opposed the public option are so stupid. They oppose something that will save their families money.
That is the sentiment of an economic Uncle Tom. If an industry is out of control and has a lock on votes in Congress, only an assault on the structure will yield the necessary results. When something is tilted so out of balance, it takes a heavy counterweight to restore the equilibrium.
The guy in the blue shirt asked some pretty good questions. I like the way he asked if we should "subsidize his life insurance" Classic! But true to lib form these idiots cannot not even make up an answer.
Answer the question libs! "WHY SHOULD TAX PAYERS SUBSIDIZE YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE??"
You are making shit up.. talking crap about the people there. That is very mature. what are you 5? Typical Right wing nut job strategy.. When Someone present you with facts.. attack the person, call them names, and then make shit up. And make signs
I do not make signs nor do I make things up. The guy in the #7 shirt is gay-rights activist and the short loser with the ugly woman is a member of the union who is currently unemployeed. These are facts. And why do you have the need to curse in your replies? Are you that uneducated?
you don't sub. mine. My family gets 100% coverage (no copremiums or copays) through Microsoft. Yet, I still support the public option which only a small percentage would be subsidized (most people it's targeting would be able to afford the reasonable rates). Fact is private insurance company profited over 3 billion just last year... yet insurance rates skyrocketed over last decade. People WITH jobs can't afford it any more b/c industry is being too greedy.
The public option would offer more reasonable rates for people to pay for their own insurance. A very small percentage would qualify for a subsidized premium- which is NOT being proposed to be paid for by any new taxes. My values are apparently different from yours... I believe in helping my neighbor when they need it. We provide "free" K-12 education, police protection, fire protections, roads, etc etc. It's literally free for all those who don't make enough to pay taxes.
The simple answer is: we won't. We are taxpayers, same as you, and the fact that you don't see that we're trying to make things cheaper and better for everyone is the problem. You're backing the wrong horse, Dave.
Plus, we already subsidize health insurance for the elderly, veterans and the disabled. Nobody is arguing against that, but why is it that we shouldn't provide a similar option for other citizens, especially when most will be paying into it the same as they would with private plans
Just so every one knows, I know the three liberals in this post. The couple are two unemployeed whinners. She claims she is "disabled" and he is a loser who goes from job to job. The short guy in the #7 shirt is another loser. His partner recently left him because he was caught at a glory hole.
Why do people bother to argue with radical left wing nuts? The guy in the Magic hat was the smart one....he walked away from the idiots. Listen to them, they're nuts!

Blue Shirt guy asking the guy " Why do you want me to subsidize your healthcare?" He said he never had a major illness so he hasn't fought with healthcare insurance.. However, he admitted to have Diabetes.. I asked him what will he do if he looses his job and can't get insurance beaus of his preexisting condition.
He said he will never loose his job because he will always show up in time and work hard.. So i guess all the people losing jobs now are just lazy..
This Guy with the sign is an idiot He said he is an employer and has employees. After i pressed him and asked how many employees he has he said he was lying and didnt have any employees someone else told me he said he was unemployed.
Later on he says he was a realtor.. Which in Orlando is the same thing. If anyone needs healthcare reform is this guy.. and maybe some foodstamps.
I think he was there getting paid by the insurance companies to spread his lies .. but i busted him on it
AH HA! So you were one of those left wing nuts arguing??? lol! Which one are you? Listen to yourselves....all you guys do is run your stupid yaps. The guy in the begining in the Magic hat was the only smart one....He walked a way!
PS: Socialism failed in every country....just thought you should know :)
Young generations born with big government around them like cell phones think government is necessary because it was there and gotta be good. It will take most of their lives to realize they are busting their hump to get to some mediocre plateau because of government burden.
Bottom line health care now is about other people's money, communities that have had conservatives run them building great communities and transferring from those areas to the areas run by Dems where lives were destroyed.

It's not so much greed as fear.
The insurance industry has managed to scare the shit out of basically decent people.
The propaganda techniques they use are straight out of the Goebbles/Milosevic book.
In any truly open and calm and fair debate that is fact based, Single Payer wins hands down.

We need health care reform but "don't throw the baby out with the bathwater".
Pre-existing conditions need to be covered. People that fall between the cracks of medicaid need to be covered.
Put caps on insurance companies and what their executives make.
You can do this and more without throwing away the best part of the worlds best health care system.

Let's go with the premise the guy lied. Who cares? Alan Grayson lies, and many politicians lie.
Also, lets say the guy was being paid by the insurance companies to "spread the lies". Alan Grayson appears to be in the back pocket of the unions.
Wake up and take off the rose colored glasses.
