I'm working on becoming a Pmod so what I'm currently working on is going to places with lots of bots and cheching them. If they are macroers I report them, I hope jagex choses me :)

All of these people yelling out websites are all fake, so do not go to the websites, they ask you for your Runescape username/pass, and take your account away, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Actually, runescape has there own site for applying, not many people know of it, runescapestaffDOTcom is there site for applying, you have a 50/50 chance of becoming a mod if you use there actually site, rather then begging.

Well, it is good to tell them to please stop etc, but not always depending on the person. You need to judge the situation.

Well, it does and doesn't. Jagex likes you to have fun. They don't want you to sit and report. They want the trouble to come to you then you r report.

If you will do the lumbridge thing don't do it too much.

Do you have to change your req questions every week or month like I have heard? And after you report someone can you be silent or encourage them to stop without causing more chaos. When I report someone I just kindly tell them to stop without them trying to get angry at me. Is that ok?

Dear Mercedes,

You do not need to change your recoveries, every couple of months. Just make them strong, and write them down on a paper. The only time to change them if you think someone knows them.

About reporting, yes you can report and stay silent and report. Notice before you report them, give them a warning first, that is advised. If they continue report.

It took me 1.5 years ti be invited. Before I was invited I believe it was over 2k reports.

However, it is not Quantity but Quality.

Well once of the concepts of being a moderator is reporting, so when being selected they do look at your reporting "skill"

Another thing is you don't need to tell the person to stop asking for bf's or anything however, it is advised.

Just follow my tips and hopefully you will be selected. :)

how jagex will know that i know the rules? jagex can be like a player investigating?

If Jagex believes that you might be a good candidate for P Mod. They would send their "Ninjas" which are normal players they will incestigate you.

They also probably monitor your private chat and how you treat people.

Also when you report they check how accurate they are.

What I do not understand is why I have been overlooked. I want to ask you why you would think this is.

I have been an active member for going on 7 years now. I have never committed an offense, nor had any blackmarks placed on my account status. I have always been there helping others, and at times doing the job of some mods within the area, becasue they wouldn't help the players in need.

Really, I do not see why I have been overlooked for so long now. Maybe you can think of a reason?

Yo, I've got a question If you've got account from the same i.p adress with blackmarks can you still be a moderator?

Great Question! Each account is treated different. If you or someone else are using the same computer and one of the accounts has blackmarks, it won't affect you. Each account is treated on it's own.

However, you should be careful of one thing, never to use bots.

As if one of your accounts is botting, you can get an I.P ban and then you can never play from that computer again. So be careful.

No that us not true. If moderators give out items, they are giving it out of the goodness of their hearts. They are not obliged to give things out.

Yes you can be a F2p and be a Player Moderator. However, it would be easier to become one, when you are a member. Because, they read reports like this Player Moderators> Members>Non Members. So being a member will help quite a bit.

Yes you may report someone that has offended you in another language! Jagex clearly said you may report if it is an offensive thing in any language. No you do not need to be a member to become a player moderator. However, there is a better chance bcuz when reports are sent in they read pmods first>then members reports>then non members. As long as you are doing everything correct. Then hopefully you will be picked.
