Looks like my first attempt at 3D animation. And I love how they gave the robot titties... can't see any kind of market potential there, not at all, lol

I love how these things are never fully erect and always walk on flat feet. I'll be impressed when one of these things walks heel to toe like we do. Part of the problem is lack of movement in the pelvis, as they always use solid hard plastic pieces. Another thing entirely is complete lack of glutes, or reasonable facsimile. Upright bipedal posture is only achievable with glute muscles, as they basically power nearly every movement we make in one way or another.

Hey if any of you armchair warriors can come up with a design that actually allows for the balance needed then please by all means send them your blueprints. The arms are that long and the hands that big because they need to be for it to work. The walking as well, same issues.

hmm they need to hire prosthetic specialist. well arms are too long. the voice are already almost perfect. they need to hire models to mimic the walking. if they really wanted to make it perfect they need to incorporate scientist and artist.

@BitterGnome The way I see it, they figure that this type of future is already coming, so why not perfect the technology before anyone else and be on top? Just like America with nuclear weapons - we built them first, we fine-tuned them before the russians, etc. really got the hang of it - now america is on top and other countries that have nukes wouldn't dream of even lifting one of theirs off the ground for fear of instantaneous annihilation from the US.I'm NOT saying any of this is GOOD though

I know that robotics is still in it's infancy, but I really wish they move on with a more improved design for the leg and hip joints, especially since the average humanoid robot has such a crude stance and gait. We have imperfect degrees and diagonal arches to our bones that makes us walk and stand so naturally. Designs in robots have too many perfections, which makes them have the crouch looking posture and hindered paced steps.

That said, at least HRP-4C's shifting hip gait is a great start.

Well, Miss Miimu is technically an GYNOID. Read a ROBOT with a human female looking.

Talking about these fine things, an ANDROID is a ROBOT with a human male looking.

What is the difference? Well, the TOK715 called Cameron Philips is an GYNOID, the T800 Model 101 called Arnhuld is an ANDROID. ;)

So, looks like we are in the right way to build our Cammie bodyguards ... ;)
