This is one of the Rippington's best songs, I absolutely adore this song! Could listen to it over and over again. The acoustics are amazing and the sound effects!
The first time I heard "The Rips" I was there biggest fan and have been since 1985 and have met all of them on many occasions. Kim is great to hang out with. They have been my favorite group thru all these years and will always be, I mean how can you improve on perfection???
I remember meeting my first wife at a rippingtons concert, we both heard them for the first time on the Weather Channel and loved them ever since. Well my first wife passed on from a tragic auto accident, but when I listen to the smooth sounds of the Rippingtons it reminds me of the good times that I used to have with her.
Also how can Kenny G possibly say bad things about these guys? They are better than he ever was.Jealousy I think.
Oh man, don't debate what's the best of Ripps... They is ALL GOOD!!! :-D I saw them live at the Jazz fest in San Antonio TX in 1991. Man was it ever fun. They didn't play earthbound though... RATS!!!!! :-D
u must read this. once u have started there is no turning back. a little 10 year old girl was raped and murderded in 1945. her body was not found until 1947. then a boy last week read this and did not copy and paste this message. the dead girl appeared in his room haunting him and killed him. if you do not copy and paste this onto 10 vidoes in 30 minutes the dead girl will apear in your room tonight and haunt you and kill you. well you better start to copy and paste this
Ohh this song is the freakin man, too. One of Russ Freeman's most awesome guitar works is on this song. What. The freakin man. Reminds me of Tony Montana's instrumental clips in Scarface.
i like a lot of Russ Freeman's music in the 80's and early 90s and this is one of my top 10 favorites (Katrina's dance, dreams, and dreams of sirens rank as my top 3) I plan to upload those when and if I get time.
it's all about this one, Morocco, Destiny, Nature of the Beast, Mirage, and Dream of Sirens. You should also check out Earthbound...that one is hot too :)
@pilot339 This was off the CD "The Rippingtons" I believe its there top hits or whatever. It didn't feature Aspen since it came out before that. Tourist in Paradise I still have, St james and Sahara aren't on it.

Does anyone realize how old this is now?? And it Ripps just like it did back then............
These guys are so tight in the studio and then somehow crank it up a notch during
their live concerts......Lots of talent/Lots of beautiful music and Russ is an absolute master
of writing and guitar riffs........

all those songs are good but lets take out "cast a spell" and "Taos" and substitute those for "St. Tropez" and "Summer Lovers"
