  • OKC is just like a small version of Houston. They are so similar in so many ways.

  • Would have to agree with you. Have you taken a look at the other videos? More great OKC stuff. (sorry, consummate Oklahoma & OKC supporter! LOL)

  • Yeah, I checked them out. Very good. I lived in OKC for 5 years(actually Norman...went to OU) and now I go to grad school in Houston. I never thought I'd say this but I like OKC more than Houston. I like bigger cities but Houston is big in a bad way. Just endless strip malls and billboards. OKC is a lot better on traffic too and there are just about as many things to do in OKC.

  • Terrific choice of music and great editing. But some beef: the events at the Ford Center have been terrifically exciting and diverse, but you come away with the feeling that the only place where you find music and other events downtown is the Ford Center.

I would have rounded out the Ford Center with the Arts Festival, OCMOA's Cocktails, the Philharmonic and Bricktown live music.

This video may have been funded by the entities shown, but it looks like a commercial. Still, good job!

  • Hey yahooserious73, thanks for the comments. And wow, very perceptive that not everything cool in Downtown OKC was present. This video illustrated the great things that happened during 2006-07. We had a contest for the great stuff of 2007-08. Check out the winner and honorable mention videos. They are cool works of art.
