he wasnt THAT awful! hes definitely not as good as buster for sure, but he isnt completely terrible! he made some great plays, like catching that bunt attempt and coming up with good at bats. im sure its difficult to follow after buster since hes so amazing. cut him some slack. he did fine.

I'm a Giants fan and that was creative and funny. Well done! I hope Gerald Demp Posey gets well soon, but it's baseball - not life and death. Eli's a solid player and will do just fine as a defensive catcher and handling the pitching staff. Any offense is just a bonus. We all know Eli's no Marc Hill.

Eli can handle the pitching staff perfectly fine, and that's what the Giants need. The offense is never going to come around, but if the pitching is what it was like last year the Giants should be fine. We have pitching and that's it.
